We all have our trials. You know, as well as I do brother, that we knew our trials before we came here. This life is meant to be hard, to test and push us to our limits. I have left the church and thought I was extremely happy. Once I met, my now wife, she brought me back and I was so amazed at how much better I felt once I had the Holy Ghost back in my life. I don’t blame you at all. We all have our agency to choose our paths. Sometimes we hit that breaking point, and that’s ok. I hope for the best for you, man. I know you know the church is true, I think you want to experience the world of man for a bit. We are meant to sin, I have done plenty of, not so great, things back in the day while inactive. But I’m sincerely grateful for the Savior and His Atonement. Don’t let anyone tell you how to dictate your life. It’s up to you to choose how you want to live. Gods plan is perfect, and everything that happens is meant to happen. I hope for the best for you, brother. :)
