Looks beautiful Pat, the colour is stunning, great job as usual 👏
Super impressed with this one. Can you do a review of using bought templates vrs working from a drawing?
Very well done, sir.
Such a classic look, really coming out nice! I’d stock up on that decal paper while it’s still available.
Fantastic work!
Looking great!
A truly beautiful build. Thanks for sharing this with us. I can’t wait to see you play
Very close to hearing what this beauty sounds like. Cant wait ever since part 1.
Spot on !
Love the nitro finish man! Turned out great! I understand that Rockenbacker does not, nor ever has used nitro finishes on their guitars. Is this a fact?
Once again it looks like a beautifully done Strat!! it’s a knock out for sure.
I detest those vintage truss rod adjuster's that are on the bottom of the neck and that you have to take the neck off to adjust it, who ever thought that was a good idea was deluded! I thought this video was about spraying the neck, I thought you had changed your mind about the tint and decided to start again!
You have a black mark by the lower tone control
I think that’s the nicest looking guitar you’ve built in a while, squire!
Seems like a tapered rasp would be better than a drill
Bad form Pat, bad form ... Don't forget the protective bench top buddy lol Turning out to be a good looking fiddle
You have a lot of determination and grit. Especially grit.
What’s your plans for fixing the shielding paint that’s showing beyond the pick guard?
Looks great!
In a funny way, that polish job enhances the charm of that little discoloration above the nut region. A beauty mark? - Paul
Looks great. I love the color even more now. The head stock logo is beyond "spot on", it is perfection. Note to self, get a ratcheting screwdriver.
🍺Cheers 👍
Bit of a cringe moment seeing the headstock scraping on the bench 😱
Me too! That's when I remembered the soft cover.
Profetionnal hand made guitar, looks perfect. Looking forward to hearing it!
Thank you my friend, I can't wait.
Looking absolutely fabulous (my wife agrees) - LOVE that colour☺👍
Thank you (and the wife) I'm really happy with the colour.
Looks great, love color.
Cheers, I was a little unsure when I first opened the tin but I think it really works.
Stunning! Can't wait to hear it!
Thanks, I also can't wait.
Would you mind saying what brand of car body filler you use? Thanks in advance.
I tend to use whatever I can get my hands on, this was Davids P38
@Adventuresfromtheshedofdreams brilliant thanks! It's not something I've done before for a neck pocket but I'll definitely do it on my next build after watching you.
Hey Pat, been super busy here but getting caught up on your Strat build and it's looking beautiful as we'd expect from anything coming out of your channel, love it man 👍
Thanks man, also super busy, hense the slow replies.
Got a bit nervous seeing those Benchcookies slide under the top of the body when you polished it, but it looks like it came out allright. Color looks great!
Yep, I thought I'd pingged it across the workshop for a second.
Incredible finishing job!
Tahnk you.
Nice and neat! Great job and great products apparently
Thank you, the products have been a joy to use.
Looks amazing Patrick! Are those papers similar to Super Asilex?
Yes, very similar, I'd say Super Asilex just shaves it but they should for what they cost.
Even know i am a bassist, I'd live to have a seafoam green jaguar
That would be stunning. I had a candy apple red Jag. Sold it 30 odd years ago, still miss it!!
A bunch of exiting vids waiting for me after a long, hot day, I just had to see the one from your channel first, this build is outstanding , great channel, thanks, man!
Thank you, very kind. I'm truly glad you are enjoying.
Is there any data to see how well shielding paint works. Especially this one? And if so is it worth painting under the pickups on the pick guard?
A saw a new Ford F150 with similar color. ❤
Absolutely LOVE that colour! I was hoping you’d paint the headstock to match … Regardless, great job all around, Pat!
Gorgeous! Almost ready for relic treatment!🙀🙈🤣
Looks great, as always! Just for my understanding; you are polishing the color paint, correct? Is it specific for the Nitor Lack that there is no clear coat necessary?
No clear coat...I can see the color on the sandpaper.
🍪👍
Such a scrumptious color, and a really satisfying step in the build!
I really wish we could get NitroLack in the US. I really want to try a blend of the relicing nitro on a black guard tele refinish. All the commercially available lacquer here has a lot of plasticizers and they're too soft to naturally relic.
Hello, our products are available in US. Allparts is our there.
As far as I understand from very experienced luthiers the glue also helps - when it's time to refret - to prevent or at least to lessen chipping out when pulling out the frets.
Try to understand what a guitar construction is before try to do one video.
мастер красавчик желаю удачи в новых проектах
That is looking very nice, Patrick!
