I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the plate and realised that I own the bike in this video. It makes me wonder what it's history is as the seat and exhaust are different, as well as the indicators hyperflashing when I purchased it (fixed it with a new relay). Still humming along very nicely at 58000kms!

Why would u make a video on sparkplugs and not show the fireing order. Not everyone's plugs are marked

Hi..can I kindly ask u some advice for my carburetor issues..I had a zx6r 2000 model my bike can run before only 120kph max speed but now after 1 month it's running only 100kph max speed... should I need to change my carburetor or still have a way to fix it??

Have to pull in the clutch to start the bike......

Used a small 12v jumper cable and got mine to turn over. Guess I need a solenoid.... well see Thursday. Hopefully it goes on alright.

A fuel gauge on these would have been good.

Hi mate, do you leave the fuel switch on or off? I kept mine off and only turn it on before starting but I have to try ~10 times to start the engine when it is cold. I am guessing I have to wait a bit after switching the fuel pump on then try to start the engine?

Would this problem cause erratic idle issues at stop lights/stops? My baby is all fine and dandy until i get to a stop and then she jumps to 25k average. So much so that I have to let out on the clutch a little bit to put load on the engine to bring down the RPM.

Do you know where the tip sensor is located? I have to check mine. My 2000 just keeps cranking but won’t turn over with new plugs and new battery

Same problem on my gsxr 600 nothing when I hit the start button but when I do this it starts , thought it was a fuel pump replaced that got new battery , none of that was the problem, than I got a new killswitch/starter relay nothing, checked everything over but no luck I don’t wanna pop my seat off every time to start it !! Help ! Replace the solenoid ??

I use a 150mm length of rubber fuel line over the plugs to take them out and install. So much easier. I run the NGK CR9EK plugs. Alot cheaper than iridium

I have the same exact bike and the same problem, I was wondering if my carburetors need cleaned, cause its sputtering when I try to give it gas, but when I'm going a good amount of speed & full throttle it, it doesn't sputter really, can somebody please help me

Just got this bike from someone hasn’t started in awhile , went to pick up started fine road home.m about 10 mins to get home. Get home and turn bike off . Try to start again. Nothing just clicking noise from starter. Dead battery ??? Or ...took to autozone to charge battery and they said it’s pretty charged but had them charge up still. What happen ????

Why didn't you unhook the tps first? When I troubleshoot I start with quickest solution first. Unhooking the tps was faster than the carb clean procedure. .

Yours is using a carb? I thought VTRs are efi'ed?
