I live in SoCal and love to get out and ride my bike as often as I can. I love spending time documenting new trails, new adventures and new successes out riding my bike with my friends. Bike park season is OFFICIALLY OVER and now we are back to riding local spots again. We have gotten very used to sitting on the lift to the top of the mountain and getting to just focus on riding downhill. Well folks, we are back to earning each and every one of the downhills that we get to enjoy. We are out of shape and will take some time to get back to where we were. Getting paced by the deer was really cool and it was awesome to run into many friends out on the trails. Hope to see you guys out there this winter.

Is that place free? You should also check out Mt Pinos one day. I always see people camping at campgrounds there and going dowhill.
Did you bring your own bikes? I just briefly looked at their website and saw that they charge you for bike rentals. But how much do you pay if you bring your own?
There is also another bike park called Sapwi near Moorpark. How does that compare. I'd love to go on real trails, but I'm really scared bc of wildlife. Do you have any recommendations that are well traveled?

@1:19 I feel your pain. I hit that place up on my enduro bike (Santa Cruz Nomad V6) and it’s way to big of a bike for that place. It was still a lot of fun and that place is really rad. My advice is if you’ve got a bike smaller rather than a big burly enduro bike, take that if you can. It’s still fun on an enduro, but being on a smaller bike more suited for a place like that would be more fun. Also @2:17 I thought you were going over the bars

Bummer. Heading out to visit tomorrow. Hoping to find whatever is left on WW/SF area... But it's crazy this is the exact same timeframe my local got demo'd. I thought it was injury related too probably, but another local told me it was probably due to the parking situation during the 'covid rush' that had local businesses or residents complaining. Which also makes a lot of sense. Glad to see there's some stuff hanging around to go hit but I was really hoping to try this spot the way it was :(

Hey idk if you get this question alot, but do you know If you can bring RC cars here? I would love to bring my x maxx, there's like no public places near me to use it, this looks like a perfect place to bring it!
Unfortunately I don't believe the park is RC friendly. It would be a great place to do it for sure. Double check their website in the description for updated info.

Operation of remote-controlled, motorized, or self-propelled aircraft 4. Animals in the Bike Park 5. Vandalism of any form, including graffti and stickers 6. Parking and overnight camping

It's a really great free community park to ride. Lots of stuff for everyone. Plus there's some extra stuff built in the hills all around it now. Definitely check it out when you have the time.

Place is not that good now. No one maintains the track and the mtb trails. I went there and it’s super rocky and rain rutted. I prefer not to go here if it’s not maintained. You will regret it.
Thats a bummer to hear. I really liked that park when I first visited it. It had so much cool stuff and even more potential to grow. Hopefully it gets some work and some love. The people in the area are very lucky to have a park that size dedicated to bikes near their homes.
