The Anti having a screamer built in. Another pedal you might like is made in the UK by a small brand called Funny Little Boxes, the pedal is the 1991, based around the tone of Ten PJ album. It has two stacked gain stages...one a screamer and the other a marshall.

To use a regular wrap around bridge like classic and American it has to be an angle to match the lightning bar angle. Will not intonate for shit and there is an adjustment on the stock bridge.

I adore the oracle, would like to try the fates, I have the ce-2w, dc-2w, and past fx chorus ensemble for chorus atm. I think with modulation and even delay to a lesser extent, most players find the pedal that they enjoy and stick to it. I’m constantly trying to find the perfect overdrive for all 500 sub categories that exist within that spectrum. With chorus, unless it’s drastically different from the classic ce-1/ce-2, I don’t see a reason to buy a new chorus pedal if I’m happy with what I own, same goes for univibe, flange, vibrato, etc. With delay it’s a bit different, as there are three main categories and several sub categories within the analog/tape/digital spectrum. Some just want one delay pedal to do a single repeat once in a while, others want to imitate Radiohead.

OMG I've been modding guitars for years and the cardboard template tip is pure GOLD - thanks! 🙂 Would have been great to hear new electronics with stock pickups to see how much difference the wiring and electronics alone really make. Maybe there's already a video on that . . . P.S. - I used a quality Saman Dark Walnut stain on the Indian Laurel fretboard of my Epiphone '59 Les Paul and it looks *just* like rosewood now 👍

Great vid! Stumbled across this as I'm about to build my first ever electric which happens to be a lefty les paul special. Keen to know how much of the braided wire I need/you used to get everything wired up nicely. Also what kind of extra wire did you use for the switch (there was some black and red wire in there I think)?

I love my Cestus, does the treble booster thing well. I have used/owned a lot of boutique treble boosters. Silicon definitely has its own vibe, and to my ears and fingers feels like a great treble booster.
