Tell me. Who's gonna " sit down! " at a Black Sabbath concert? 🙄

So when did Tony Martin get sick during this tour? Or was it before the tour? This show was mid-April, and the first show of the tour was early February ("The Sting" bootleg), and on that show he voice sounds better than on this show, although a lot more snarly. Has he discussed it in any detail?

Ian screamed his guts out for these guys and pretty much destroyed his voice. I was there in Worcester. It was amazing. I’ll never forget it. He gave everything he had that night.

I was at this show. My friend and I then taped it off the radio later in the week but were pissed they didn't broadcast "Supernaut"; "Rock and Roll Doctor " and "Disturbing The Priest." Bev Bevin (The Move, ELO) was on drums. I still have my ticket stub.

We saw the July 3rd 1980 show in Lubbock TX with Riot. Don't recall Ward playing that gig

This is a good lineup for sure! The original will always be what it is.🫡 But acording to me the most powerful and mighty sabbath is: Dio Iommi Butler and the almighty Appice🤘

I hate all the pseudo "fans" because off he is not Ozzy or Dio, now we have a very hidden gems of a really awesome era so Sabbath. Thanks to Tony Iommy to no let Black Sabbath Die. Sorry for my bad english.

What a strange place Sabbath was in during the 90's. Tony Martin is trashed on so often. But this concert reminds me that he had an impossible job to fill. Yet he still does it fantastically. He sings Ozzy's eerie vibe, along with Dio's triumphant powerful anthems amazingly. It feels like this is a best of both worlds sorta concert. You would never see Ozzy singing Sabbath tunes from their entire history like this.

This is AMAZING. Tony Martin not only pulls off his own stuff, but did a GREAT job doing Ozzy and Dio songs. A LOT better than I thought he could.

Sounds like a wild alive audience. Been to a lot of those shows. I also had the pleasure of seeing this line-up back then. If I remember correctly, it was on an Easter Sunday. The irony. That show was singularly the best concert I've ever seen.

SAW them this tour at POOLE (BOURNEMOUTH) SW England & the vibe was much better & Sabbath seemed a ton more together on stage than other bands we’d seen that year so we got lucky cos there was remaining tickets to see them in SOUTHAMPTON days later . I think tickets were cheaper in proportion to income than today ! ❤️🏴😃👍

This is great. PHAT tones from Tony!!! Saw this tour about a week earlier in Ottawa-my first big rock show as a young teen. It f’ing rocked!! Still remember them playing this tune before album was released
