In the UK you can now buy a used MS or M3 for <15K GBP. MX and MY are a little more, but even so I just picked up a high-spec 2018 MX P100D for 26K GBP, this was a £100K+ car new. Prices are plummeting.

Just purchased for $25k (no accidents and one owner ) the 2016 Model X 75D for our first electric vehicle. Going into it I knew we were going to take a hit on the range as it has 90k miles. This suv will be primarily used by my wife for commuting 15 miles each way to work and me doing errands around town and such. The range degradation is roughly 70 mile loss at 80% charge but we are ok with that. Hopefully in a few years we will upgrade to a more robust battery pack like the 100D if available. Just go into it with eye wide open and not expect it to go to the moon and back on a charge. The interior is impeccable as is the outside. Liking it so far. Honestly I'm waiting on solid state battery packs to come along. That will be a revolution.

Got a 2020 model S for 29k... I don't understand why they are so cheap. The car is insanely fast (not plaid but faster than any other car I've driven, ever), smooth, great stereo and has an app with tons of features.

There is no *new* CCS retrofit for Model 3 and Y... It's been available for a few years. 2022 I believe for Model 3 and Y.

How can a Tesla replace a van with all the room there is for tools or whatever there is ?

it i funny how, in the UK and Europe NACS does not exists and most cars, including Tesla and their superchargers, have CCS ports and a great many (now) chargers with the numbers still increasing for DC and AC destination chargers.

Seriously have been contemplating buying a Tesla. We live on a military base and don’t have to worry about utilities. Seems like a no brainer however my only concern is if I buy used. The battery warranty has been hesitating as knowing my luck I’ll get slapped with a bad one and have to pay out of pocket. Thanks for the great video as it really added some firepower to help convince the wife!

2019 SR+ M3 here. Just had the retrofit done, and it's worked great. I sometimes need to travel to areas that don't have a Supercharger available within 50mi, but a CCS fast charger in under 20mi. The peace of mind was worth the price!

Please no... CCS DC charging stations are sometimes cheaper than Tesla charger stations and there are only 2-4 chargers on average.. You know what they don't need? More Teslas trying to charge on them to save a few bucks instead of the MANY Tesla stations available. CCS should never have been made available to Tesla till Tesla finished making Tesla Stations open to all 3rd parties.
