Fantastic Series...

This cracks me up, and rings so many bells in terms of memories of trying to impress someone. For example years ago I running to impress this young woman. However as it had just rained (washing memories off the sidewalk of life no doubt!), I turned the corner and barelled over on some wet grass, in turn ripping a gaping hole in my trousers and revealing my arse. Continued walking down the street like it was nothing whilst inside just waiting to see what else I could screw up that day.~~

Huge columbo fan, and of all the magical moments in the show this really stands out. Absolutely beautiful writing :)

One of the funniest scenes I've ever scene.

The last 50 seconds are absolute genius, the chair scene at the end is up there with the best of them :D

FYI: Allen brushing the lamp with the coat, scratching the needle off the record, and the complete destruction of the set in the last 20 seconds of the scene was unscripted. The reactions of the other actors was genuine, and the corpsing you see in Tony Roberts is him gamely attempting not to break character before cut was called.

This is my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE moment of Columbo witn his dog. It's sooooooooooooo freaking sweet and cute!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Interesting how Allen was thought of as a 60's celebrity when he really was not a baby boomer in any sense. Of course, neither was Bob Dylan or John Lennon for that matter. But Woody did not identify with the hippie generation at all and never lost an opportunity to show his disdain for them.
