It always makes me wonder why someone would leave that on the river bank. Did a canoe tip over? Forgetting it when they move on? Or forced to drop it to escape something?

Looks like your area is blessed with lots of good flint and chert, especially in the early parts of the video. I would probably be a sifting fool there.
"Rough go"? I would be lucky to find those in a year. Different state, different options.
It was that way for me when i first started out, and yea ill agree that some areas of the country are way better

Lots of Dickson's in that area. That one point looked Hopewell. The Harahay knife is the icing on the cake, a real beauty!

Gave you a sub. You seem to find some very good artifacts. Its good to have such a rich area to go wandering in. East Central Ohio here and many of my old fields have gone no till and i find few points or tools anymore. Been stumping fields for almost 4 decades. Wish i had an area like yours to search.

Everyone wants points and knives. I find the tool just as interesting as the former. Got one very nice crescent banner stone in decades of field hunting which is a pride and joy of mine. Celts and axes are just as cool. Scrapers and drills are wonderful finds. Your round hammer stone was cool.
Good hunt! A couple nice fishing plugs, some sweet arrowheads a couple of nice hardstone tools makes for a more than decent hunt! Very peaceful there. That is one of the things I like most about searching for artifacts, the solitude and peacefulness is priceless.
Wow! Those were some great finds. Those storms really wash the shoreline and give you a fresh look don't they. Always a good day when you find silver. Excellent video.

Debatable wether these are grinding manos or anvil stones for the knapping process, i find some that may be combination stones

Its a 1906 -d barber half dollar, theres old house sites along the river that will produce cool stuff like this sometimes.... it has 10$ worth of silver but its worth just a little more as a collectible coin

I heard a rumor that you made all these points! Then went back in time and placed them where your videos show them using a secret map from 1500 years ago! Any truth?
My videos make it look easier than it really is, people seem to think i have this special spot thats loaded with artifacts, there is lots of flake and fire rock but it still requires miles of walking and kayaking(wich is not easy in 100 degree temps and thick mud) todays video was the result of non stop looking from 6am to 3 pm, no breaks no meal break

Trying to teach a 40 year old about Artifact hunting, I tell him and tell him you have to be at your site as the sun comes up, have more then 5 sites to hunt, don't whine if you don't find that Thebes or Clovis point today! There's always tomorrow morning. I've hunted since I was 6 or 7 with my older brother.

@rockhunter6260.... sure have been, the river droped about a foot yesterday and that was the day i should have went, i was chasin footprints so i can only imagine what they may have found
