One of his all time greatest songs/poetty.
love that song
❤❤
This video is a gem
What a Song and Dance Man😎
🌹
Those outfits are so pretty
I think she’s gotten on his nerves by the end- the tone of his voice changes from intimate to distant- So the last Joey is great/ first sucks - Bette needs some Valium- he needs some sleep- they’re all drunk And a good time was had by all, I reckon - oh but the ugly dawn😮
@44:36- she talks of being turned on my one of his songs and I think the talk turns to his dick- and he says wanna see it? And she said No- I already know….-can’t get all words- “that I’m Not interested.” Dylan chuckles sheepishly and says “Oh I’m crushed…” or something like that- listened to that part on repeat- they are joking -she apologizes and he says no worries-love off script stuff like that / what was it REALLY like?
Sounds like Bette is a little coked out- but it was the mid 70s- so I guess it’s cool- but she never made record
He’s smart to sing duets w Joan- this could be a disaster onstage- bette in her late 70s element- this is Bette right? Sure sounds like her and who else would get so Chummy so fast////
Love bette milder on duet- she was hanging around the club auditions in Greenwich- they are funny - Bob and her interactions are revealing!!!😮
Does anyone know who the woman is about 30 minutes in who talks about getting the original singer on Paul Simon’s Gone at Last?
I’m pretty sure the woman is bette midler- she was hanging out but they are just fooling around- it’s great- is that what u asked?
There’s a sense of independence and freedom bob sings of here and I gotta say I feel it’s one of the few things I truly missed out on. Glad to hear the tune though
EXCELENTE
wow
Wow it's hard doing this on Kareoke As some verses and words justvcome at ye = bang bang bang bang etc etc But I gave it a go and did ok I was told
I’ll never forget a meaningful encounter many years ago with a healthcare professional and my whole dx changed for the better. Thank you.
1:15:08 Romance In Durango Hot chili peppers in the blistering sun Dust on my face and my cape Me and Magdalena on the run I think this time we shall escape Sold my guitar to the baker’s son For a few crumbs and a place to hide But I can get another one And I’ll play for Magdalena as we ride No llores, mi querida Dios nos vigila Soon the horse will take us to Durango Agarrame, mi vida Soon the desert will be gone Soon you will be dancing the fandango Past the Aztec ruins and the ghosts of our people Hoofbeats like castanets on stone At night I dream of bells in the village steeple Then I see the bloody face of Ramon Was it me that shot him down in the cantina Was it my hand that held the gun? Come, let us fly, my Magdalena The dogs are barking and what’s done is done No Ilores, mi querida Dios nos vigila Soon the horse will take us to Durango Agarrame, mi vida Soon the desert will be gone Soon you will be dancing the fandango At the corrida we’ll sit in the shade And watch the young torero stand alone We’ll drink tequila where our grandfathers stayed When they rode with Villa into Torreón Then the padre will recite the prayers of old In the little church this side of town I will wear new boots and an earring of gold You’ll shine with diamonds in your wedding gown The way is long but the end is near Already the fiesta has begun The face of God will appear With His serpent eyes of obsidian No Ilores, mi querida Dio nos vigila Soon the horse will take us to Durango Agarrame, mi vida Soon the desert will be gone Soon you will be dancing the fandango Was that the thunder that I heard? My head is vibrating, I feel a sharp pain Come sit by me, don’t say a word Oh, can it be that I am slain? Quick, Magdalena, take my gun Look up in the hills, that flash of light Aim well my little one We may not make it through the night No Ilores, mi querida Dios nos vigila Soon the horse will take us to Durango Agarrame, mi vida Soon the desert will be gone Soon you will be dancing the fandango … bobdylan.com/songs/romance-durango
1:15:08 Romance In Durango
And the lyrics just go on . .
A MASTERPIECE!
Love it to make my day🌹🌺
6:57...eh...who or what is rising?
BELLISSIMA
I like the 1994 Woodstock version better.
My favorite song of his!!! The wonderful poetic lyrics and just a great storyline in the song.❤ it so much!!
Jesus Christ!
What concert is this?
I prefer the lyrics of the Real Live version.
One shite singer he was, pathetic
Don’t panic, you can always go back to Michael Jackson etc any time, moron.
This could be from the Champaign Ill show in Fall '99. I was 7th row. If not, then it's during the same tour somewhere else.
Bob Dylan is only musician that could tell stories, with a microphone, guitar & a harmonica... Thanks for posting this one...
Gotta add Springsteen to that list
@@daniel_moretti and Neil Young
@@LloydBoonworldofmusic2 And Lou Reed
It's good. I just wish the lyrics would switch over quicker. It's hard to keep up with or you can't see the lyrics yet he already starts singing them.
Bobby was in a good mood that night.
The song is like a Murakami's story
Another beautiful ballad by Bob -- this one dates from '64 ! Wonder where & when this rendition was done? '90s? Too bad it's fuzzy.
At first I didn't like it as good as the old but when I was taken farther along, I may like it better. Musically it's better, but the original had more bite. When Dylan and I were younger, we were angry young men, with age we've mellowed some. My girlfriend still knows how to press my buttons though.
La migliore versione 😊😊
In my 56 years, and 40 years as a guitar and piano player, this may well be the greatest performance I have ever seen. The genuineness of it, the SOUND, puts a tear in my eye Right from the heart. God bless Mr. Dylan
Just when you thought you had heard everything, he comes out with this whopper.
It is oddly moving to me as well. Bob's harmonica playing is so gentle and expressive and the band is so tight. It sounds like one guy is playing every instrument.
this song is about my life
This is a brilliant insight to studio work. This has made my day in a sunny Liverpool Uk
Really- the interplay between bob and Bette Midler is funny and revelatory- But she never made record- and I’m glad-- Bette’s being a bossy bottom 😮 She would have been a drain on rolling thunder - she was hungry and smart…..
That IS Bette- right? I just assume and I’d seen footage of her at rolling thunder- was this when she was doing bath house gigs?
So much strength in his voice been a fan for decades a true icon tangled up on blue my favorite thank you bob dylan
Just watched it again!
What a genius, no one writes songs like this anymore
Even Dylan said he can't do this kind of writing anymore, that it somehow came to him back in the day but doesn't anymore.
That the TRUTH!!
No one except Dylan. Last album had some great lyrics.
To be fair, nobody before and since did.
When did Marathi manus started listening Dylan. Hahahaha
Such an incredible way he puts the words together. THE iconic song of the 20th century.
Bob. The first rapper. And the best
I'd love to know who the guitarist on his right is, he's great and so much part of this epic version
