Ive had the No 1 for a long time. My all time favorite overdrive is the 1977-80 Boss OD-1. No contest. The No 1 is my no 2 favorite. Its almost (and I emphasize that) as musical as the vintage Boss OD-1. To my ears, its THAT good!!

My pedal arrived today, #244 - get 'em while you can, folks. To everyone complaining about the demo: It actually sounds that good, this isn't a trick of production. I've got three other overdrives, and love them all, but none of them can compare to the distortion and gain this thing cranks out. Kudos to Vman and KHDK for making my favorite pedal yet, maybe ever.

A Cliff Burton tribute overdrive pedal would be awesome. There’s not really any good bass tubescreamers out there and I think it would sell amazing. The abyss rocks though as is. Considering it a replacement for my Darkglass pedal

His sound is usually massive and tight. Not sure why it sounds like three metal zones in this demo.

Not many have brought to the table like what Doyle has as far as a complete style of playing the guitar. I would think its far to say that he dominates his guitar and this type of control has only been seen in a few guitarist. Doyle, always ahead of the curve.
