I was diagnosed with distal biceps tendonitis months ago. Dry needling helped but it didn't completely relieve my pain. I have noticed that since I have been actively trying to release my triceps and pronator teres the pain has subsided. I have even been able to lift more weight without discomfort. I assume this has been the issue all along. I am going to try this technique with the ball and see how it responds.

What if I don’t have a lacrosse ball?
I have a costal cartilage I got in a BJJ tournament. At first, I thought it was a pulled muscle, but the cartilage was and still is popped out of place. This happened 2.5 weeks ago. I got back to rolling yesterday, and back defense was really the only position that caused a lot of pain. I usually play bottom half guard, but decided to play more bottom full guard and work on that, and that seemed to keep them off my ribs. So far, so good.
Thank you so much. These are really simple exercises to follow & your advice on calming down the body is on point. I was highly active & although in hindsight i had some functional problems with the lumbar region after excessive exercise or movement a fall affecting my sacrum & then followed by one affecting my neck brought on extensive lack of function & pain in the hips with spasms in the & lumbar spine & neck. numbness in the arms & leg & paricularly numbness in the saddle upon sitting for even a short time. I also had some overlapping neurological issues. It was hell to try to explain what was happening to Doctors as i have always been pretty tuned in. After 6 years with a heightened nervous system & plenty of back & forth with specialists avoiding all the pain medications, nsaids & intermittently using muscle relaxants, the recent findings showed bertolotti syndrome (bilateral sacralisation l5 to s1), annular tear on l5 & straightening of cervical lordosis which certainly gets overlooked & are not understood in the UK & matched my issues exactly. My most recent & absolutely amazing physiotherapist, like yourself concluded that first of all we need to calm the body (nervous system & muscles) before adding some strengthening exercises. For anybody dealing with lack of function & chronic pain, please perservere & seek out those that work with & understand the body. They are worth their weight in gold. I will be adding the exercises to my routine. Thank you😊
You are a true American Hero. This has been bothering me for YEARS. It's not a permanent fix, but the relief, no matter how long, is amazing. Would you believe me if I said I have this pain initially from weight lifing, but continually from milking goats!? 😂 I refer to it as Farmer's Arm 😂
Hey I have a question My friend kind of turned my fingers against my knuckles as a joke but for too long I have knuckle and finger pain But it's very slight pain not too much only when I do something hard or just put pressure only then it hurts. How long do you think will it take to heal.
I have tennis elbow and I feel a pain between my bicep and brachioradialis and I'm also afraid to exercise, thinking that i'm gonna rupture the tendon, what should I do? I tried with lightweight few times and I heard a snap like sound, It felt like the tendon just detached partially.
+ I also can't fully extend my elbow which is the problem

Hello. I received a diagnosis: I have small disc bulges in the area of T6, T7, T8. discretely compressive on the dural sac. I would like to know if I constantly lift weights of 30-35 kg, can it worsen very quickly into something worse, does it progress very quickly? I work lifting weights, I need to stay another 4 months. Can I endure this period without getting worse, or is it enough to get worse? I will do physical therapy in the near future. Please, if you can help me with an opinion. Thank you very much.

What if it's both sides?
Would superaspinadus tear cause pain in area of the tendon from bisep going up. It hurts right all in that area. No advice, just what is or where is pain felt.

Oh man, I hope that you will read this. I have watched so many videos on lower back problems that my eyes are going buggy, none of them addressed specifically what I'm feeling and seem to just generalize so much as to not give misinformation, they're almost useless. However 90% of what you said in this video is exactly to a t when I am experiencing. Annoyed I missed this! Dealing with a hamstring injury from jiu jitsu atm felt awful at the time collapsed but seems to be healing within a few days any tips so it comes back stronger or to reduce repeated injury Doc 🙏

What doctor can check this cause I can’t get any help from PCP and nothing shows on X-ray or MRI. But I can’t hear a popping sound.
I woke one day and started screaming in pain. I haven't been able to use my arm properly for 2 years.
My doctor cannot see my dislocated shoulder easily it needs MRI nor ultrasound got injured due to shoulder dumbbell press a year a go no pain but made all of my joints become really tight and popping

How long should I wait after my compression fracture of my L-3 to start inversion therapy? I assume not right away.
That is up to you and your doctor but you definitely want to be sure it is 100% healed! Depending on some things, you may even need or want a second x-ray 6-8 weeks from the initial fracture. That said, even after the fracture, you may experience pain with or without traction so there likely should be therapy that will strengthen you all around. I hope this helps.
Never wanted to do this because of a 1000 ways to die episode plus hating getting water in my nose, and while I'd still prefer if there was a steaming neti pot I'm a lot more comfortable doing it now, thank you.
Hahahh I didn't know they had a way to go via this method. I don't think anyone really loves it but the relief you often get (at least that I find) is worth it.
@@DrJoshJagoda if I remember correctly it was a germaphobe who didn't properly purify the water and got a sinus infection that ended up killing him. I know they aren't fully true but I did read that using improper water repeatedly does actually cause horrible damage and, while it's rare to kill someone it's still very bad.

I had a habit of popping my ribs like 6 months before . There was no problem in doing that , i use to aggressively pop my rib nuts . Suddenly it started to hurt like 4 months ago and so I stopped because I couldn’t even turn a little . Slowly it got normal but everytime i try to twist my ribs to pop like i did before i started to hurt bad . And now these days its again hurting back and its not like it used to be before what should i do ?

What most people cannot accept .. sometimes stretching aggravates back pain .. first thing we are taught as children .. stretching must be done by everyone .. don't do what hurts you .. sounds simple but people think you can work out nerve pain .. wrong

I practiced BJJ for 5 years before I herniated my bottom two discs two years ago. It's been a long painful two years. Is there a chance that if I return to BJJ, it can get worse? No Doc will give a straight answer.

Hopefully you recover quickly and its more soreness than anything. Consider this as a sign you may need to ease into it or adjust your programming.
