Not really. Nobody will ever get sick eating undercooked chicken in Albania. No matter where you go, it is good to death... it is really terrible. We never order chicken when eating out anymore.

Well... I'm afraid, they look better than they are imho. Maybe okay this time of the year when it's deserted, but there is not much for food or drink at this time of year. When everything is open and the tourists flock there, it is just overcrowded and overpriced. I would not stay in Ksamil. Ever.

Yeah was crazy. Our friend that came, Phil... from Australia.. we are meeting him and his wife later this year when we go to Bulgaria and then to Turkey. It's cool that you seem to be going through all the videos... seems like you maybe started at the oldest and working your way to the newest.

Are you trading your own capital or working for someone? Those are 2 very different things. And residency requirements are different for many countries. If you are a salaried employee for a firm, Montenegro might be a good option I think you can stay on nomad visa for work but you must have a confirmed salary of a certain value to be accepted.

Next time we will see other places, this was a short visit to Belgrade to see a friend and we are no longer in Serbia.

Shkoder has more bicycles than cars. It is a very flat city too, so getting around is easy.

Albania has actually experienced lower than average inflation compared to many surrounding countries in Europe over the last decade. The prices are really not that much higher, what you are experiencing is the substantial rise in the value of the LEK to the EURO. The only significant inflation numbers have been in the last couple years, as global food prices have escalated and Albania lacks domestic production and any half decent distribution system. 35% of what you are experiencing is related to the fact the LEK has been one of the strongest currencies in the world in the past 7 years.

Yes plejeskavica will never have only beef, it is a mix beef, pork and at times lamb. This is why it is not the same, they don't even taste the same. And as you say, cheddar cheese... well, this would never be on pljeskavica. We sure do want to come back, to visit other places for sure.

Korca is very nice.

It is a great western burger for sure. Pljeskavica is no better, they are completely different things. I have ate enough Pljeskavica to know. They are both great.

We liked Pogradec. Couldn't live there, too small and there is really no English speaking foreigners living there... at least, our friend who lived there for 2 years, said basically none at all. She ended up leaving.

Like, yeah, that's what I did. It's pretty self explanatory in the video WHY I did it... I hadn't come across a McDonald's in 5 months in the balkans, and I was curious as to how it would compare to a Big Mac at home. I am well aware of what is available and have ate lots of local food. We had a REALLY good time in Belgrade. That is an amazing city and we will come back. We had a short trip, it was not planned very much in advance... but we want to come back and spend a longer time there, maybe a month or two and get to see other cities as well, particularly to go to Nis for food.

Any video that even mentions Kosovo in it, will get this comment.

It's not idiotic, it served the purpose of our story living in the Balkans for the last half year. @@JayandSarah The point is, English is your native language and you should know this. It is NOT my native language and yet I still noticed it. The video is nice. But, where are you? It's been ten days since the video... Hope you didn't end up in a hospital after HAVING EATEN that huge burger.

@@user-ii3eu6xd8h even with native language you still make grammar mistakes. When you are on camera pushing out thoughts , you end up with what you get. We are currently in Mostar, I did not die from the burger. A few weeks off from filming just due to the immense heat in the area.

Yep. I have ate a LOT of pljeskavica.

We've had it pretty hot now for 3 months straight, for the most part we go out early or late. I don't film at night, my camera is not very good for that unfortunately. We have left Serbia and are now in Bosnia & Herzegovina. It has been scorching hot here.

If you check our video list you will see we did a "NO MCDONALD IN ALBANIA" video and actually made our own Big Macs. When we are back there I will film at a place I know.
