I definitely understand the appeal of electronic groupsets.. Hell, I want one on my Enduro Bike, that said though, needing to charge it is annoying enough on its own, but what really tips the scale for me to most likely never buy an electronic groupset is the proprietary battery.. Using a standard AAA battery should've been the way to go as you could easily bring a spare or just buy one mid ride from a convenience store and most importantly, not be stuck with basically a paperweight groupset when it's been 8 to 10 years and spare batteries are no longer sold by the manufacturers..

That gives you a starting point for finding your optimal saddle hight - but it DOESN’T give you „the correct saddle height“

Given that the cap now doesn't do a cap's work anymore, just get a bloody adapter cap.

Better to use a goniometer and look for a 27 degree angle at the knee. It will give you a pretty good fit, best of all it won't be to high. Best to get a good bike fitter.

There are valve adapters or just carry a pump, then you wouldn't have to walk all the way to the gas stations 😅. Imagine you get a flat in the middle of nowhere. There are really good hand pumps that weigh nothing and can go up to 11 bars for 30 to 50 Euro. If you're paying for the air anyway 😅

This short appeared to me like a gift when i needed it, it's easier than any other method i know, but the problem for me is that i get 75.2cm and first of all the saddle on the bike i'm interested to set doesn't go that high, second is on the maximum height i can't reach the floor without hopping off the saddle or leaning significantly on the side so this makes me feel insecure. I guess i'll keep hurting my knees till i get used to it.

Or . . . you can wear your Garmin on your wrist like you do when you run and just look at it by turning the watch face towards you.
