where did you get the f6x tune file?

E85 doesnt really go bad. It basically attracts the water out of the air which when it attracts too much separates and goes to the bottom of the tank. And first thing the engine does then is suck in some water. And thats it for the engine. The oil issue is also related to water. Ethanol produces much more water during combustion which goes into the engine oil. This is a really big issue if you regularly go short distances where the engine doesnt warm up. In a hot engine its much less of an issue since the water cant really condense anymore and just goes out the exhaust as should be. Ive also heard that once you get the engine oil hot enough some of the accumulated water can also be cooked off. Not sure if thats true though.

Where would you recommend me to learn about fixing cars in Australia & how many years did it take you to get to where you are today? Can you plug your phone in directly to charge plus for Apple car play. my iPhone drops out through Bluetooth say nav in bad reception but if plugged in directly to head unit I’ve never had a problem with car play maps etc

It's great to see one of these videos from Australia. My Dad worked for Ford most of his working life - so I really get the Falcons. Particularly the utes. I was amazed at the turnaround in the red paint - I personally would not have lowered it though. I think leave it stock if you can. Let the buyer do the modifications. I was also surprised by the effect of those 20 inch wheels. Was the Mazda buyer a collector of he just liked the old Mazda's? They still have a great reputation.

I thought S meant S Pack. It doesn't, so my old police car EA is an S. Mine is a March '88 tagged car, early production. They are a 36 year old car now. I live in a country town where older people hang on to their cars for a long time. Very few EA, B, D's around. XF's have all gone.

when the car is tuned for E85 you get back some of the mileage you lost but you have to make sure the ethanol level doesn't drop. This is problematic because the fuel blend is based on weather, climate, and you have to drive it or it goes bad.

Hi Mate, good job, I'm doing a turbo territory up myself, just a tip, make sure you change the inline turbo oil filter just in case you haven't already done it, make the oil presure drop and the oil light on, its a tiny little filter just before the oil pressure sensor.

I've heard if you find a good tuner an get them to tune the boost to come in gradually you can run stock gearboxes an won't hurt them with 500-600 hp

I also took the 20s of mine and was looking for the turbo 18s , also stamped as a 5seater but advertised as a 7seater.
