Why thank you! I shaved it for the last time in November 2023 and am growing it out now. I think I made it past the first awkward length phase with only 5 or 6 times of thinking, "I should just shave it again and be done with it." LOL!

Shave, as in all over shaving my hair off again? Probably not for a while if ever. If I ever decide to end this loc journey, then I will shave it so that my hair is one length.

hahahaha I told my stylist who put in the starter twists that my hair has been in the streets these past few years and she cracked up! It was fun to experiment without worrying about long term damage since it was so short. I am looking forward to seeing how my hair develops during this journey. Thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks for believing in me, sis! The rule on the package centers around how long can you hold out without eating or drinking. I lasted over 30 minutes based off that, but the chip remnants came back up around 15 minutes 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have heard people say they do it, but I just never did...I didn't know how and I didn't want to bother anything. Does one do it every day or is it a one time thing? If it is ongoing..at what age do you stop? And thank you for the kind words- I love how my scalp feels!

@@p31diva well my mom was a nurse so she showed me how. I did it once a day with their first bath and I don't remember when I stopped honestly 😂 my son will be 20 this year, and the other just turned 14 so it was too far back to remember. I didn't like doing it cause I was afraid of hurting them, so I let her do it most of the time.
