We had a great time here, happy to review the hotel we stayed at for 2 weeks, many improvements needed but overall fantastic place, hard working staff and happy cleaning staff x

I thought I would do an extra review whilst in Alcudia, the latest reviews are all good and bad, some issues for me, the pool is not deep, maybe come up to your waist! No champagne on arrival, no lunchtime restaurant, like one review said its the little things that have let it down. Thankyou x I’m still in alcudia, I popped into the condesa for you 🤘 they said that the Don Jamie is open for all inclusive 6 days away for breakfast and lunch but not evening meals 😀 hope that helps, have a nice holiday! Your lucky as where you are we consider that part of the beach to be the best up there 😀 oh it’s 6 days a week Tuesday to Sunday

Did you leave a review in the Booking website? The owner gives sarcastic replies to all negative reviews. If you say that there was food in the hotel when you arrived, he will accuse uou of leaving the food there

From what I've seen from other vloggers, the 2 worst hotels in Blackpool appear to be the Hotel Avano (by the Pleasure Beach) and Sky City (in the Central area). I do follow all these as I do stay in Blackpool regularly although I do tend to pay a bit more as I don't quite unsurprisingly fancy the idea of living in squalor for a few days.

@@travelwithrussell On the Avano, one of the bloggers caught a serious eye infection from being in that hotel, can't remember if he stayed it out or left as it was that bad, but he needed hosp treatment or he'd have gone blind in the eye
I was there for one week no issues 😮car park so cheap food ok and room was good for price ok I am going back soon
I think next room you check ,can i recommend you take some surgical gloves and lots of hand sanertizer, cleaning with a cut on your hand you're lucky not to get a infection

I stayed there the other week - it's a right dump. I could smell sewage, the mattress was horrendous and needed replacing and it was dirty. Horrendous - never again.
I used to work for a hotel booking service 25 years ago. Even back then we used to get so many complaints and refund requests from people booking stays here.

Putting ice in NEVER the drink is ice cold doesn't need ice
Even if it’s ice cold which it wasn’t I always need ice 🧊 😊 everywhere I go no matter what the restaurant is they have ice this is the first time I have used a machine without ice, very poor from Burger King 👑
@@travelwithrussell never have ice. You may serve yourself there but when it's served to you, you get a large drink without ice, because of the space the ice takes up in the cup.
WHY, do some hotels put the towels on the bed ? Imagine going for a wash, shower or bath and then realising the towels are on the bed.
@@wolvoman1 😂 totally get you! Towels should be stacked on a shelf in the bathroom or at least a designated area that is easy reachable from the bathroom, madness but yea they are still doing it
Love a bit of the norbrek it's good place and spa but bad in some places

Lets be honest for what you have paid you can't complain Britannia Hotels is aimed at the bottom end of the market if you want perfection then stay at the Ritz on The Strand and it's around £1,000 a night for the basic rooms. I have stayed at dodgy Hotels before but I have just made the best of it and still had a good time and that's what it's all about Blackpool is not San Tropez so just enjoy what it has to offer plenty of people do.
@@mansfieldlad123 honestly I totally agree with you! There are some amazing hotels and lodges in Blackpool, personally I absolutely love the place, I wanted to review this place because of the reviews but it was not as bad as what people were making it out to be, £35 was an absolute bargain tbh 👍

There should be a mattress protector on the mattress, that's bad for a chain hotel not having one, but it's Britannia so to be expected! Some of their hotels have been getting a lick of paint and a tiny bit of upgrading from the money they've taken in from housing asylum seekers / refugees for many many months (not meaning that in a bad way to be clear), so some reviews of the past where what was happening then.
