Heck yes. Not sure how I stumbled here, but ain’t that the way it is.
Watching this 16+ years after this was recorded... there is a good chance I was sitting on a barstool, drunk off my ass, sipping starfire ale listening to Charlie shread at Fitgers Brewhouse... Now im listening to it in my woodshop, carvinv a walnut ladle!! Holy shit, man a lot has changed for him, me, and the world. Great music defies all time and space... Thanks for all your music Charlie.

I just saw him play this song live in Kansas City. It was an 8 hr drive from Texas, but worth every mile. I’m glad to see 350K views, because it shows that Mr. Parr is making an impact on people around the world.

Ed's 500 Club in Winona!!....my then girlfriend (now wife) used to live right across the street. MAN I used to get tanked in there. Cheap ham sandwiches on paper plates, ice cold tap beer, and a tornado foosball table. Life was alright. Hooray for Charlie Parr.

It's called National Resonator or somethin. I believe you can find a video of him talkin about it... maybe his KEXP appearance..
Its a steel body resonator guitar in a duolian style. National is the gold standard of resonators, not sure which brand he is playing. The resonator in the body is a single cone "biscuit"
