Witnessing Fajr in Plovdiv Bulgaria - 3rd/Ramadan/1444AH - 25/03/23 CE
The local masjid Salah timetable stated Fajr entered at 4.42AM (which corresponds to 18 degree Fajr angle calculation). However, Fajr entered much later than this as is evident from the video I took from the top of a hill.
Note that the 12 degree Fajr angle calculation said that Fajr entered at 5.15AM.

When viewing the fajr in person, fajr entered at 16:45 (5.09AM) which was 6 mins before the nautical dawn time (12° fajr angle calculation). I think the camera makes it seem brighter than it actually was in person.

Excellent work, may Allah bless those involved in this effort with goodness in this life and in the hereafter. Great to see Muslims striving to follow the true Islamic Teachings with knowledge and insight. These calendars and timetables are known for their shortcomings but most of the people don’t know. True Fajr tends to correspond with nautical dawn time. Every Muslim should equip themselves with correct knowledge of their religion.

@@abunasirideen9879 you would call your child Nasirudeen (with a U) But you would name yourself abu nasirideen (with an I) For example, if a child was called Abdullah, his father would be called Abu abdillah And if he was called abdurrahman, his father would take the name abu abdirrahman This is due to the type of word it is, the arabic grammar changes the vowel Barakallahu feek
