“We can make it happen!” Chicago playing at MGM near Washington, DC. This is the classic Robert Lamm composition, “Dialogue” from 1972’s Chicago V. Originally sung by Peter Cetera and Terry Kath, this performance showcases the songwriter, Robert Lamm, and vocalist Neil Donnel engaged in a timeless “dialogue” from the 1970s.

Very odd comment for a band that uses five men on lead vocals in their concerts this year. Neil, Robert, Lee, Loren, and Eric. And you wrote it in reply to the 2016 CBS segment where very little recent concert footage is shown. The horns are live, the vocals are live, the guitar is live, the drums and percussion are live. Is the sound sweetened? I guess. It’s not the raw sound of 1971, that’s true. Technology is much advanced since then. When you’re there, you know it’s live because you hear the flaws that inevitably happen. Come out to a show! Tickets are much cheaper than Taylor Swift or The Eagles.

As long as they are having fun and still enjoy playing and their fans are coming out to see them and filling the arenas who are you to say they need to end their careers? They're still entertaining. They still sound good. Walter would still be playing but he has heart issues and early Altzheimers. They fired Danny years ago. They put Pete between a rock and a hard place giving him an ultimatum to not do a solo album or else leave the band. Terry we lost to an unfortunate accident with him not accounting for the cartridge in the chamber. Yes it'd be great to have all seven together but Robert and Jimmy and Lee are still doing great. Robert turns 79 in October. Jimmy just turned 76 in August. Lee turns 77 in October. Pretty amazing those three guys are pushing 80 years old and still have the health and vitality to perform all these shows each year. You should be giving them credit instead of making fun of them. They're certainly not doing it because they need the money. They love what they do.

Twice at the old Boston Garden in 1973 and 1974 and once at the old Patriot's football stadium called Schaefer Stadium in 1975 with a big concert with other bands. Chicago was second to last to perform and The Beach Boys came on last. Fleetwood Mac played earlier than Chicago. Jimmy Pankow and Lee Loughnane still play great. Bobby Lamm playing guitar while singing Beginnings is different to see and it's nice seeing him standing on stage. I don't know if I looked for recent videos where he's not the lead singer if he'd be back on keyboards or still standing on stage. Maybe fans want to see him on stage as there's only 3 originals left. Too bad Danny and Pete weren't still in the band. Walt would be if he didn't have health issues. I loved Daryl Hall's voice. @@Giminey After you mentioned Daryl I found a live video of him in Texas it was really recent. I want to say August 2023. He was on a piano. He sang "Every time you go away" the song Paul Young made famous but Daryl wrote it. I was really surprised to hear how his voice sounded when he tried to hit high notes. His voice cracked. It was shocking. I watched an interview of him with Dan Rather from 2014. He was 67 or 68 at the time depending if he'd had his birthday in October yet. He looked great. He didn't sing. He talked about getting Lyme disease in 2006 the same year he started Daryl's House. So Daryl turns 77 next month. What happened to his voice? Rather asked him if he used drugs back in those days and he said neither him or John were drug users. He said drugs didn't agree with him. He said I'm not going to say I never tried drugs. Rather said whiskey? Daryl said I drank a little. So those weren't problems for him and John. He said that's why John and I are still here, still coherent. Robert Lamm hasn't lost his voice in the way Daryl has and he's born 10/13/44. Daryl is born 10/11/46. Both artistic, talented Libras that sing, wrote music, play piano/keyboards and play guitar. So what could have damaged Daryl's voice?
