I am trying to convert a 1995 Yamaha outboard 40 hp 2 stroke that was set up for steering. It has a steering bracket on it and no two bolts for attaching the tiller. Does the steering bracket need to be removed or is there a part I can add to be able to attach the tiller arm. Can you please help?

Those types of seat will be hell on my back. I had a 1650 fisher & it had the soft ride seat posts. They need those in these smaller boats also.

not a bad setup. I looked at the 1825 but ended up going with a Silver Streak Carmanh. I live on Vancouver island and the factory in Sooke isn't far from me. The kingfisher was value priced but the the shallower deadrise and wood floors were a deal breaker for me. With my Carmanah I got 1) a welded aluminum floor (thicker aluminum overall) 2) an offshore bracket/pod that extended the bottom hull 3) fish locker 4) bow anchor stand and chain locker that holds my chain an enough rode for halibut fishing As mentioned deadrise is a big factor here if you plan to use a boat in the ocean. The hull on the 1825 is a bit shallow and slams. Otherwise its a nice boat for lakes and calm days near shore

Hi. i have the older F20 with carburettor. is there a upgrade kit to 25 hp?? from what i can se it is the same engine, but higher output, same bore and stroke. older 2 stroke engines usaly has a restrictor plate or a diffrent carburettor, but it may be more complex with a 4 stroke. These are decent boats. Ive been in the 28' a few times, the pros... its a fish slayer, handles a rough PNW ocean, you can be confident and safe in this boat, its a savage. They are light and fast which is good fuel. Cons.... you can feel the boat twist and flex smashing through a rough ocean. In place of speed and fuel, you get a super rough ride. They have a flat bottom and slam super hard off waves unlike some of the deep vee boats out there like the Hewes Alskans ect.

Great video. I bought an F6 last month, when i ran it the first time I noticed that it rev'd really high when i first start it up. Is that normal? Throttle was in start position, so it wasn't getting any extra. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide

Great video Capt. Just purchased the Reactor system . On the dockside wizard it ask for speed source to be RPM if engines connected to NMEA 2K. Wouldn’t it be better to use GPS as a speed source?

Nice review! We've been running our 2050 Supercab in Oregon for the last four years. Trim up a bit for the best handling in reverse. I think the biggest surprise in regards to handling (for us) was how well the Stabicraft handles a following sea. While other boats keep the captain busy avoiding a broach, the Stabi just holds her line and stays rock solid. We also have a Stabicraft 1450 Frontier Profish and it is pretty impressive, as well. We've had it off the Oregon Coast on nice days and felt perfectly safe crossing the Yaquina River Bar.

Does it work on the kicker or just the main engine? For the engine setup you are showing can you have dual throttles and have the left one do the main and the right do the kicker?
