4.5 grams of ms medium? Murishige and skoog with vitamins?
yes, that's right!
I couldn’t believe that I grew my amaryllis from seed within ten days it had roots using this peroxide method. In twelve days it had top growth. So then I tried it with cannibis seeds that wouldn’t germinate in a paper towel method, they grew roots in two days in the peroxide water. Weren’t duds at all! So I decided to skip the instructions and take my apricot halo hollyhocks out of the fridge, two weeks early and just stick them in some peroxide water overnight. I sowed them on Monday and today’s Wednesday and they are beginning to sprout. Blue shrimp plant “same” Right now I decided I would do it with the lotus seeds. The passion vine seeds and sage which is how I stumbled on this video. ❤ I really truly cannot believe how quickly most seeds will root in a cup of peroxide water!
Vandas are my favorite orchids and I am ill when I see Francisco cutting them and throwing them. If the roots are good, there will be new growth from the remaining stems. But have HOPE and will follow the updates to see thousands of clones....
Absolutely! With this explant, we are going to regenerate thousands of them. And it's great to see your love for the plant. We hated it too while cutting (becuase we love these plants) but we knew we would be multiplying it in so many of them. Have you ever tried TC?
@@PlantCellTechnology Work mainly with orchids and start from seeds. Was never successful to clone from bulbs, stems, leaves or meristem.
@@danieljheelan5256 Is that so? We are hopeful about our culture, though. Will definitely share the update as soon as we have it.
Will the Biocoupler Bundle Work for Mini Sinningia/ Gesneriads? Or should I find a different liquid media mix to use with PPM?
For different plants, the type and concentration of hormones vary. So, you should definitely try to customize it. The biocoupler works wonders for the multiplication and rooting stages, so it would be best to use it.
I'm interested, do they ship to México.
Yes, we do! You can either shop from our website or contact our local distributor, whose details can be easily found here: plantcelltechnology.com/pages/distributors
It's almost like a pelletized seed but using plant material
It's synthetic seed. :)
Hi Francisco, Next time you come to France, bring me some clean protocorms of each. Daniel
We'll try, Daniel, if we come. Thanks for all your love and support!
From the time, I was waiting to clone from orchids plants. You can put the roots without the stems and you will get new germinations.
You will. However, tissue culture is excellent for obtaining thousands of them in one go.
I've actually never heard of "synthetic seeds." Interesting!
Great, you've learned this now!
What strength of the light do you use to grow meristems? And what temperature?
What strength of the light do you use to grow meristems? And what temperature?
Thank you for the explanation. I was wondering what were synthetic seeds.
Great, you know now!
I LOVE IT😂❤❤❤❤
After doing the multiplication media in the biocoupler, do you then do rooting media in the biocoupler and then after that, transplant to the fluval stratum? Or do you go from the multiplication media directly into the fluval stratum? Thanks!
We move for rooting and then acclimation. However, for some species, rooting is performed in the fluval stratum. So, it's based on the type of plant you are working with. Like, some plants root readily in Fluval Stratum, while others benefit from a dedicated rooting medium. So, research the specific needs of your plant.
Brother, Do produce any tissue cultured plants for commercial purpose?
Currently, not! We only supply tissue culture essentials.
When making multiple media recepies. Can I use dye to identifie them without harming the plants.
Using dyes to identify different media recipes in plant tissue culture is a common practice and can be done without harming the plants if appropriate dyes and concentrations are used. Here are some tips to ensure that the dyes do not adversely affect plant growth: Choose Non-Toxic Dyes: -- Food Coloring: Often used because it is safe for consumption and typically does not harm plants. -- Commercially Available Tissue Culture Dyes: Specifically designed for plant tissue culture and guaranteed to be non-toxic. Use Appropriate Concentrations: -- Dilution: Use dyes at low concentrations to avoid any potential negative effects on plant growth. Start with a small amount (e.g., a few drops per liter) and observe the plants for any adverse reactions.
Thankyou for your knowledge!!!😊
Thanks for watching!
Amazing👌
Hahaha
Sorry for the clickbait got me 😂
In general, are there just 2 mixtures of gel medium? 1 for multiplication and 1 for rooting?
Three: Initiation, multiplication, and rooting.
Do the explants have to be face up and stem down? Silly question i know but some peoples tiny plants look upside down lol
Like, what explants are you talking about?

It's June 20 in northern ny state and the reishi season is "BOOMING". I started picking for profit but fell in love with this mushroom. I think it may be controlling my mind but I don't care. I tried it out because I felt if I was going to recommend it , in good conscience, I should try it. Forget about lionsmane , reishi should be the rock star of mushrooms. PS , love , collect , use and sell chaga too. Great video and can't wait to grow some more blocks with new info. I'm trying out growing tsugae on logs with some success (finally).
Great! Thanks!
I'm growing some lucidum and they stop growing after removeing from a grow box. I spritz several time daily. I'm trying to conk. I do have good air flow.
Hi i have soaking the seed the same solution for 48hr already but some seed is pop up the root but some are not , Because some the seed that i have it 10 year old , what do you recommend for the seed that not pop up and been soaking for 48hr ? Anyone have a link to the sterilizer???
After 30 minutes of looking. Benchmark- micro bead sterilizer.
❤
Love this series! Thank you!
Great!! Thanks!
Excuse me for my ignorance, but i was wondering if there are any problems in sterilizing media and tools with UVGI light or if it's just impratical.
Making any truffles or ginseng yet
Internet links are gonna start getting dusty, what even is this thing??
It is a sterile compounding area where pharmacist make or fill drugs
In this case we perform plant tissue culture. Sterile conditions are required and therefore a flow hood is needed to help maintain a clean air work area environment
Thanks, realmente great.
Hi teacher! Does liquid culture need to add sucrose like solid culture?
Yes. the only difference is the agar. In solids, you have agar in them; in liquids, you don't add the agar or any solidifying agent.
