The Russian mob would rather kill Mike and not collect a dime, possibly placing them in the middle of a murder investigation, should they not confiscate of the body correctly, rather than get paid and not have to murder him? I mean, you’d really have to enjoy killing someone to want to put a bullet in someone’s head rather than have them hand you a stack of hundred dollar bills…….

This was such a stupid unrealistic portrayal of Poker...

I finally noticed something I've missed after watching this scene more times than I will ever know: I don't play poker, so I've only been a spectator of it. I love old westerns, and watched more old western movie poker games than I can possibly count. I've watched professional poker players play, but they usually had dealers who dealt out the cards every time, but they never used this trick, but its used here - KGB shuffles the cards, but there's another card laying on the table. It's a dead card - one that looks totally different from all the other cards, and it sits aside as he shuffles the deck. Then when he's done shuffling, he picks up that dead card and places it on the bottom of the deck. It's a safety card, to prevent a poker player from being able to deal from the bottom of the deck. If he tried to do that with the dead card, it will automatically show everyone that he just tried to cheat at cards. It's a great way to prevent people from getting suspicious out of desperation that the guy they are losing to is cheating them out of their money, whether they actually are or not. Don't know why I never saw that before......
