question. I have bayliner reflexx inboard jetboat. 3-cylinder mercury 90 hp. it looks like an outboard engine but inside the boat. where can I find parts for it? the boat looks great but the engine does not run. might need something to give it spark, other than the coils. where to find parts and a service manual? thank you in advance.. note: this is my first time touching a boat so pardon my ignorance.

All two part foams will absorb water over time. Get water under It and will be absorbed, cause foam degradation and pitting int the aluminum , plus hauling the added weight. Read the data sheets from the manufacturer. They absorb water. Boat should be welded enough to to survive. There are other types of foam that are approved.

4th gen needs split reverse bucket for reverse and adjustable trim nozzle. Engine and intake get set at correct position, adjustable trim allows adjustment of trim attitude without sacrificing pump output. Your welcome.

This is soooo sick. I just heard about Mason's build shop yesterday. My buddy Colin is getting the 1648 model built with the floor strength of the 1760 and eventually with added foam on the side, with a 150HP engine. I'm so excited to see what Mason will build.

That system of mounting the outboard is pretty slick idea but outboards are weak - filled with malfunctions and scam outboard mechanics like to lie and take advantage of outboard owners. I started my fishing & Hunting guide services in 1976 and today in 2022 I'm still guiding clients. In 2021 I had all I want of shitty outboards then during the rebuild of my guide jet boat off went the Mec 225 EFI then went in the jet was a 1969 rebuild Chevrolet Big block 402 @ 500 hp. powering a Berkeley JG jet pump now total end of all outboard engines common problems caused by outboards. Never again will my guide work boats have large outboards. Also swapping out an inboard isn't any more of a problem than dealing with outboards. Outboards used for guide work last 1 1/2 years at best then the Chevrolet V8 last many years

I’ve dug out so much spray in foam that is water logged and seriously weighs over 100lbs. Love the noise reduction but the water retention over the years is incredible

in march I called you to get advice on building my flat bottom aluminum outboard jet boat, I thought if i called someone far enough away from me that they wouldnt be afraid to be honest. ( i own a welding business and was afraid to call a local boat builder thinking they wouldnt talk to me ) I was wrong, you spent 15 mins trying to talk me out of building a boat, said the merc 25 factory jet was " a dog" and wouldnt push my boat, tried talking me into buying a russian inflatable. I went ahead and built it anyway, with the merc 25, tested it this week and it performs amazing.... glad I didnt listen to you

Mason- just asking- my guess is you have made jet boats for duck hunting for those on the West side of the Rocky Mountains……. 1) You prefer console to tiller, 2) You go .125 as well or all 3/16”, 3) Completion time- of course based on options- 3 months to 1 year? Looking to buy one, will fish some in it but 90% for getting to holes where the ducks wanna be. Thanks in advance for your reply.👍

Greetings and thanks for the video information. I just thought of a crucial decision-making question. But first let me give you some entail of the weight set-up/distribution in the boat: It has a heavy (130 lb give or take) 25 Horsepower Mercury Jet drive 2-Stroke Outboard, AGM Gel Optimum Bluetop cranking battery, and (185 lb) me in the back of the jon boat The front has a 55 lb thrust Motorguide (about 30+ lbs) trolling motor, two heavy Duracell deep cycle batteries, a 5.5 gallon fuel tank, a couple of anchors (37 lbs total ), etc. (And eventually I may add front and rear decking) I thought to put Nauticus trim tabs on my 14 foot jon boat to help it come on plane even better. But if I install the trim tabs, will the stern/transom be raised too high out of water and cause too much air to get sucked in the intake of the jet drive?? The white caps/big chop I have endured coming across the main lake doing 19 mph made me think about this!!😆😅
