Mine only goes 30 at max down hill how do I get it to run 40

I'm 96. Had a wizzer at age 16. It came with a schwin bicycle. I installed a centrifucal clutch and a generator that ran off the fly wheel. It was the joy of my life.

I had an original Whizzer when I was 15. It sure beat the bicycle I had been pedaling. Just bought a 1999 modern Whizzer so I could revisit the good old days. I'll be 87 in a few months. Never too late for fun. I drive it, unlicensed, on our rural byways. Call myself the "Backroads Bandit".

Stop signs mean🛑stop , kid down the street blew thru a stop sign on a motorized bike and spent 4 weeks in a hospital. 😮

The true 1947 wizard was a dual spark plug two-stroke.... It sounds like a four-stroke

dude blowing through stop signs even in a quiet neighborhood is not a good idea any time, on anything, let alone this thing where you have absolutely no protection. A slight gear or pulley change would make it less busy at 40.

I bought an original Whizzer bike with a spare box of parts for the grand sum of $7.00....That's seven dollars USD, back in the early 1960s....It came with a high compression cylinder head and it had the factory 12GA. spokes....Zero chrome....Top speed was 42MPH on a grass median strip in the highway....I was clocked by a guy in a 1955 Chevy....The original exhaust pipe was a flex pipe from the engine to the pedals, no muffler....I sold it for $25.00....I wish I had kept it.

I have a Whizzer replica like that. It's great fun, but going 40 on it is not for the timid! It's a bicycle. Hard tail and gets a bit squirrelly above 30. It's like very early motorcycles.. Four stroke, slip-belt drive, no gears.
