I’m so glad that you watched this video! This reminded me of a calm pond. And we both know this is lake superior, it was surreal. The conditions were such that water on a big body lake could be that still in calm. It was extremely tranquil. Thank you so much for watching it. The ship on water is something that’s very interesting. Chuck sent me a graph that showed her two big buoys in the area. My gut tells me that we’re going to find out the ship accidentally hit one of those buoys. What else could it be in that deep water? There’s no submarines there?

@@vibewithmike after I read your comment I got to thinking about it and I have to concur. I can't believe there's always been something submerged there that has never been hit and I think you're correct about the lack of subs in the area so a buoy makes perfect sense.

My friend from Ontario! It’s a very sad situation about that vessel. However, the silver lining is that the crew is safe. That’s a good thing. I definitely will pass along. What happened when I do hear about it with that vessel. It’s going to be interesting to find out. Again, all the best to you.

How awesome was it to see this ship! The captain did a quick powerful blast. What did your daughter think? How did your dog react? My dog sometimes isn’t too excited when those horns go off.

@@vibewithmike we were there for the Oberstar also just 40 min prior. My daughter was so amazed. to see two ships within an hour was truly incredible. The dog had a little whine going, but not bad. I did a facebook live stream and shared your video next to mine on facebook. /thank you for the video and awesome narrating.

@452Boatman you got so lucky to arrive and have a ship. There are some people that come to Duluth and there’s no ships because of weather or whatever. @carolewoolley7017 I really appreciate you using the word ‘friend’ because that’s how I feel about you and everybody else. We all share the same passion and interest in these vessels. It’s a true blessing to have a community where we are all together having fun. And staying positive.

It happens once in a while, but not all the time. The thing that so surprising is there was that boat going through you see it for a split second at about 4:18 in the video. It’s on the other side of the ship going to the opposite direction. I’m not sure why someone would go out in that fog and a little boat.

Good question, I haven’t put that blue light up on the pole for a while. I think the blue light now is on my pontoon.

One of your fans said you always use it to let us know when you are out there, but i haven’t been able to spot it lately. But i have an idea for a drawing… no clues; i will surprise you.

I can imagine mountain range in the distance that you probably seen 10,000 times, however, this guy in Minnesota would be staring at that all day.
