This is actually way scarier. I think this game would've been better if you were able to see everything at all times but I still respect the creator's design choice.

Fun fact There's not actually anything outside the sub, the world you see thru the camera is completely separate.

I love how being able to see clearly what's outside your submarine completely ruins the horror of the game.

It would be much more terrifying if you could see, just imagine seeing the creature swim past you with its massive body as your nerves tense up and then bang. Shame I’m a person with such thalasophobia to the point I could only play things like these with other people right by my side

I thought if you could see out of the window then you could see the entire body of the monster with the big eye.

This was really neat, but definitely ruins the game due to the scripted scares.

i saw the unity skybox and thats when my immersion died completely

i had no idea there was actually an outside. how i figured the game worked before was that there wasnt one at all, just a map and predetermined coordinates. the game would track your inputs to figure out where you “were” on the map and trigger interactions and photos accordingly, that those were completely prerendered. but nope, there is a whole outside and everything is rendered real time based on where you are. honestly, that makes the game even creepier in my opinion. i felt a weird sort of safety knowing that there wasn’t actually anything outside the ship and i wasn’t actually moving through narrow chambers and whatnot. now that has been totally subverted and i am even more freaked out by this game 😅

Since there was actually something at the final coordinate, I think the monster should have broken through the sealed window after the player saw the image of what was there.
