Love it! Problem is, I'm now planning to replace my 2005 fzs1000 with dynojet kit for a fz1 and a supercharger.I just have to do it... did you replace the head gasket with a ticker one? For lowering the compression slightly? 🤔 Aswell, do you have to modify or loose the lower fairing due to build space or is that only on the SA?

I just bought a 2009 FZ1 project bike. It has been sitting for 8 years. I have to refurbish the fuel tank and decide whether or not I'm going order a new quarter fairing or go with a naked set up.

I’m only minutes into this and you’re on the computer ,and this is crazy how far “tuning” has come since I was a youngster who my friends came to to help get a broken down vehicle running ….you almost have to be an engineer to tune a bike ,and this bike is older ! Bravo ….im too old to start learning this but you’re definitely a smart and determined dude 👍🏼

Just started video so maybe u address this …but me not a mechanic, i’ve always heard that when the FZ1 throttle is closed The ECU stops all fuel and leaning it out. Which is part of the reason why I’m considering an ECU flash, even though I don’t really want or need more power lol. I have a sputtering along w a occasional pop backfire when at or under 3k rpm with no throttle or very slight throttle…

What’s lambda….no don’t worry I hardly understood half your “show and tell”…. Do wanna know though ……what ever inclined you to boost an fz1 ? I am impressed …at the work you put in and that you can handle it lol..I mean shit I must be getting old ,I hardly get full throttle on my more or less stock fz1 before I’m blowing well past 100mph or a curve comes up .😜….quite impressive and a very clean job .. you definitely should be doing something in this arena for work

How ironic my 07 FZ1 broke from there also .. I used the same part that broke off I just threaded that and the other part and put Teflon tape around it 3 years later it still holding I took off my tank yesterday to weld my frame ,and it still working 😊

Hi great video and explanation of what the manual tuning process is about. Question, is there a way to remove the options the manufacturer enables in the stock ECU, e.g. fuel cut off and 1-3th gear power limitation i.s.o. bringing it to the tuner for another 450bucks? The Maxxecu is too expensive to buy and tune my bike just once. 2nd Question i have is: I want to change the gearing, do you know of a Yamaha bike which the gears are interchangeable or which gearbox did you install?

I have FZ1-N 2008 ABS and it's misfiring have changed spark plugs,new ignition coils new fuel injectors and still doing so any advice sir🙏🙏🙏
