What twist did you use on 27"?

I found this video and really enjoyed it. My wife and I love to shoot 22lr bench (for fun, her=Ruger 10/22 custom stock, stainless bull barrel hammer forged and Me=Bergara BMR with KRG Bravo stock, trigger, comp and Athlon ARGOS BTR GEN2) We really having fun but were looking at upgrading which led me to this video.

Sooo if $500 is an "affordable" price for a tripod then I'll just tie 2 sticks together and call it good.

Every time you sample a distribution you get an estimate of the true mean and an estimate of the true variance. The ratio of 2 variances (variance is the square of the st dev) is different when the ratio exceeds the f statistic. 8 square over 6 squared (64/36) is 1.78. To declare two variances different with a 5% threshold for being wrong with 9 df for each variance (10 tries each) the f statistic you need to exceed is 3.18. At 10% error it 2.44. I guess 11 vs 6 would pass this test but once you make multiple comparisons its a slightly different ball game and I did not want to run a true analysis of variance. 11 vs 8 would be less than 2 as well. I cannot say there is no difference, but this is not enough evidence to say they are different with confidence. Good test though, and good video.

Pretty big oversight by Ruger making the forearm tube not attached to the chassis. Being attached to the action is foolish. Try shooting without loading your bipod. I have a feeling it would shoot better just based on the goofy half chassis system they got going on. If it were a one piece chassis or the forearm tube attached only to the chassis itself loading the bipod would be helpful to you without harmful to the rifle. But by design the bipod might as well be attached to the barrel
