I know it's not perfect but im an amateur so im proud anyway ;) With very limited time this took me almost two weeks to record. I was learning it by ear and i couldn't transcribe some of the fast parts. The clean parts are Wampler Ego Mini compressor and Strymon Iridium, the synth is BOSS SY-1 with Wampler Ego Mini and Way Huge Green Rhino before it.

Full shred sounds much more compressed. I guess I like the warmth of the 59 more. And the Full Shred is hotter, so it seems harder to get clean tones. You can still shred with a 59 with a distortion pedal, so that’s covered.
Супер круто!
Wonderful ! Bravissimo !!! Merci.

I can't believe I found this video. These are the 2 pickups I wanted to compare for an HSS strat. You're awesome, great video. They both sound good, but I think I'm going with the '59. Thanks!
I ended up with Alnico 2 pro because i was looking for a HB that will have nice stratty quack with the middle SC, splited and full and this one was better. As a stanalone HB i like 59' a bit more.
Yeah man! Nice work. Love the sound of your Strat.
Any chance you worked out the tablature for that arrangement?
Very great! 👌
Thank You :)
damned good!!
Hi. Have you installed new tuner pegs and experience less neck dive?
Yes, there is less neck dive but less is not enough if it still happens :) It's a fully hollow model, just like Epiphone Casino so it's kinda impossible to have no neck dive at all, good belt with pads helps alot.
Oh right right, awesome. Thank you for playing the good stuff. I like your style👌👌
Well done !
Thank You :) i did this video as a surprise for a friend that used to play this game in arcades in 80's.
Good job brother! Thanks for sharing.

What an stunning riffs mate
Lucas, el mooer con voice al máximo es el peor seteo
Para mí, en esa configuración era la mejor configuración, la perilla de voz más baja daba un sonido fangoso, oscuro, sin dinámicas.
Good demo! I'm loading a strat with 2 tex-mex's and a SH1n. (59 neck). Using 500k pots and 470k resistors to balance the singles so they sound like a 250k pot is behind them. I chose the 59n because it's lower in output and a little brighter than most. Hoping it will all be a good match with the aim of getting rid of the thin ice-pick strat bridge sound. Note.. Not splitting the humbucker and tone 1 will be both singles. The strat is a metric classic vibe so the 59 poles will be pretty close to lining up under the strings.
I'm using a SD 59n also. I had it in the drawer. It's working out pretty good a great output. I only wish it had short legs so I can lower it a bit more.
This amp is good for playing pink floyd and jimi hendrix srv ?
IMO yes, but: - do not use fuzz or distortion pedals if You are not playing loud, it has a treble bleed citcuit, that makes is sound really nice when You play clean and quiet, it kinda stops making harder clipping drive pedals fizzy when You crank it because the natural compression kills some of the highs. - if You want to play it with backing tracks at home, record it or play it live with a band it's ok, If You want just to sit down and play it after work to relax, the boxyness of small enclosure really kills the mood for me, i sold it since, and i had a Hot Rod Deluxe IV and it was perfect. Now i use Ibanez TSA15 combo, it's 15 watt 2x 6v6, it's a small combo with 12 inch speaker and it does not sound boxy at all, it does not have a reverb though and it's mostly clean, only with built in tube screamer circuit as a drive "channel". I just use TC HOF 2 Mini reverb in effects loop and it's perfectly usable, i had to remove a capacitor from volume pot (it also has a treble bleed just like Blues Junior). Over all, If you don't plan to use alot of drive pedals and high gain, it's a great little amp, i plan to get it myself again because i miss the nice bluesy breakup tones i got with it, just mind the boxyness because it could be a frustrating thing if You don't like it.
why did you sell it? didnt it sounded good enough?
I needed a stereo IN for other stereo pedals like Chorus and Doubler
@@lucaszembrzuskiIf you use a "Y" cable, you can utilize the stereo input.
@@tonepot2339 Yes but not as "stereo in" but to use stereo "Y" cable to connect it to the amp's effects loop using one cable instead of two. Check the manual :) The left and right channels of the cable are used as input and output of the effect without having to use output the two cables.
@@lucaszembrzuski I did check the manual and one of us is misunderstanding it
@@tonepot2339 it literalilly says about option to "stereo insert" in the input section. Not stereo input. I had this pedal, if it had stereo in and outs i would still have it :)
does it have stereo in?
Unfortunately no, i would never get rid of mine if it did.
Nice, brings memories of my adolescence, discovering the world and adventuring with friends.
Nice work man. I think this solo best expresses the genius of Owane. Love to see others feeling that
He is my favourite modern guitarist and I heard most of them i think.
beautiful work!
I have a plan to buy the same guitar, but i was suprised when i find out that this is actualy a full-halowbody guitar(and no semihallow:(. Does thin pease of wood (under the pickups&bridge) helps in terms of sustain ang non-feedbacking?
I've never played it very loud so i can't tell if there is no problem with feedback, but this is AMH90 (H means Hollow in this one), check out AM93 models, they are actually the same guitars but semi hollow.
@@lucaszembrzuski I had as93. Except of having no whole-central block under the pickups, those are the same guitar. If AMH plays like As93, a will be super happy.
@@bertonedes so why do You want this one? i would actually like to have 93 instead of this one because i play a lot at night with headphones and this guitar is too loud acoustically.
@@lucaszembrzuski Because its smaller, and more beautiful then AM93(the same body size).
@@bertonedes i thought the whole AM series are the same size? "AS" is the bigger one.
Thanks so much for uploading this. It's one of my favourite PMG song.
Are they both trembucker size or did you put a Gibson sized APH-1 in a fender lol
Great vid tho, this was the comparison I needed but I think the APH-1 is for me!
@@xxsnurfsnurfxx9824 yeah, APH is Gibson sized, but the difference is almost imperceptible.

Sweet sound :) are you happy with the guitar?
Yes, very bright for a semi hollow, but fully manageable with volume and tone controls.
@@lucaszembrzuski thanks for the fast response! I also like the AR520H. How do you feel about the AMHs feedback?
@@Lalairu i don't know actually, i never play loud, and i mostly use it clean.
Sounds great I need one of these mk 2 lol
Incredible Genialna robota!
Fuck , this synth sounds like a dream 🥺😍
It's nothing complicated, BOSS Sy-1 on first lead preset, variation 1 for normal and variation 2 for octave up sound, Depth on 50%, and Tone something like 55-60% just slightly right of center. More details in the comment below :)
Who would have thought fretless classical guitar was such a worthy alternative to the oud?
That pedal was designed for you 🔥
Thank You, this is basically a JHS Morning Glory V3 Clone, but the high cut engages when You press the main button a bit longer. If Josh ever release a Morning Glory V5 with normal switches on top and back loaded jack & power in/outs (saves a lot of space on pedalboard) i will but it instantly, i love the sound that it makes :)
All Of A Sudden! Was playing that intro 10' ago and randomly I opened your video. As Sting would say, Synchronicity!
:D
really cool! where did you get the backingtrack?
Josh was sharing it for free on his Insta if i remember correctly :)
Hi, beautiful wotk! Can you tell me how did you set the boss sy-1 to get that sound? Thx
Lead 1, variation 1 for normal and variation 2 for octave up sound, Depth on 50%, and Tone something like 55-60% just slightly right of center. If You want to have it clean without high overtones You have to use the neck pickup, preferably a humbucker (less overtones and brightness). I also use a compressor before it to tame the dynamic range of sound because it messes with the synth input, also set to high attack, and some tube screamer like overdrive after the compressor almost clean to fatten the signal, it makes SY-1 much more responsive, because normally it seems to act like it has a noise gate and needs big attack to not choke, like some fuzz pedals.
@@lucaszembrzuski Thank you very much Lucas! I got something very very close with my hx effects but was wandering buying the sy1 (and of course you have to place comp and overdrive before it) What about that Ibanez guitar? Can you have a decent jazz sound out of it?
@@robertorighetto8376 Yes, the Super 58 pickups on this one are very bright for some reason, it sounds almost like some Gretsch. Anyway if You set tone pot down to about 30% and volume pot to 75% (to tame the pick attack), You get a really nice Pat Metheny style sound, i also use a Wampler Ego Mini compressor set on half compression, full blend, brightness switch off, attack switch on, and unity volume. Also i was using an MXR EQ for a long time to tame the muddy lower mids and get some more 1.6khz sweetness but i discovered TC Tube Pilot pedal that does the same to the EQ but also makest the sound more alive and responsive, i set it to max volume and lowest gain possible to be at unity volume with it off. I record using strymon iridium, and it makes it sound even better and more like a real amp. I bet that it would do the same wonders in the effects loop of Helix or before it.
@@lucaszembrzuski super cool infos: thanks a lot!!
@@robertorighetto8376 no problem mate, im always glad to help :)
Nice playing man! I own an Ibanez AZ and a custom fender tele (modern C) Their necks are quite smooth with decent string action enabling me to play chords and fast lines well.. Is the string action on this one playable as well? If compared to the 2 above mentionned guitar.
I like low action and i didn't have to change anything in this guitar's setup except for crowning the fret ends and sanding the back of the neck a bit so it's less sticky. I don't know how it compares to the AZ but the neck is not a wizard :)
@@lucaszembrzuski Thanks for the reply man! Cheers! AZ neck is almost like traditional strat Modern C / D shape but more playable. I sold my Fender elite strat for this and no regret till now. Now, looking forward to the Ibanez AMH90 for Christmas :D
@@lucaszembrzuski What sandpaper do you use for sanding the back of the neck?
@@jazzfriend52 first i used the harsh side of the washing sponge ;) and then some 1000 grit paper, after a few weeks of playing it got to the point of nice looking matte finish.
@@lucaszembrzuski One more question.I have the same model and high E string sounds thin, like weak output or something wrong with the bridge,I don't know?Frets are ok,but the sound is like on the edge of buzzing.Do you have similar problem with your guitar? Thanks
Wow
