I personally don’t add sugar or honey. I’m fine drinking all the teas as is!! 🙂

I’ve only used it as a pre-poo. So I can only vouch for it in that way. Since this is more of a butter/oil, I wouldn’t apply this to wet hair after shampooing. I think it’s important to rinse the oils/fats off.

It works well for me and others. But there do appear to be more raw forms of Batana. Just like there are different iterations or coconut oil or any other oil. But I really like this brand 🤍

Yes! There’s no need to rinse it out until you decide to wash it apart of your regular routine

It solidifies into more of a butter. It is easy to scoop out. Not hardened solid like coconut oil I’m winter

Lol I don’t need those extra pounds. Floradix Iron + Herbs is good for iron and hair growth may get that instead really very minimum of sugar compared to Geritol. Just a suggestion. I feel like it's always a challenge to measure my hair bc it never is fully stretched. I think I will straighten my hair at the end of the year to see my true length by then. This is encouraging! Hey Marie! Have you tried aloe vera juice? Maybe that could help. I personally use a DIY hair spritz - it starts out with water but it ends up being a tea mix.

Hi! I usually wash and deep condition my hair. I do a protein treatment 2-3 times a year typically. I think my hair only felt dry when I took it out of the crotchet protective style. I typically use Shea butter or Neem butter to seal all the moisturizing products I put in my hair. I really did start to wonder about the protective styles with added hair. I’m going to try to go the rest of the year with just mini braids and mini twists with my own natural hair and see if I can retain length that way. And yes this is definitely a journey for sure! Learning, mistakes, and more learning. Thank you so much for your detailed perspective 🙂.

@@angelabrunson8573 Yes I noticed this. One of my next few videos goes over Mary Ruth in depth. It only has 30 mg vs the 3 gram serving if you were to take it separately. There is 1000 mg in one gram so I’m not sure if the MSM in it is significant

No the MSM didn’t cause any acne for me. I worked my way up with the dosage though bc it did give me headaches at first. I need to take it gradually when I start it. I am doing cycles of it. I’ve decided to stop every 3 months

The bald guy is Dr. Sebi, he was a pretty well known herbalist from Honduras. You could look up more of his work. Batana oil originated in Honduras and I thought why not add the clip. But he is bald lol 😂. But if you look at anecdotal testimonies. Ppl are saying that it works for them 🙂

Good question, so I wash my hair either when I feel like my hair is dry and lacking moisture or if I am experiencing product build up. I had these braids in for one month and washed them once for example. You have to kind of evaluate your own hair and scalp and pay attention to the small details. I know personally my scalp loves oil and I don't get a lot of build up from it

I wash my hair most often with Trader Joe's tea tree shampoo. It's cheaper in store, but this is the same product on amazon: amzn.to/46gxe4U
