DYI : ) How to make homemade PCB
This is long video but I'm explaining all the details and I've shared all my experiences about making a PCB in home. you can fast-forward it and you can just watch what I'm doing.
I used an easy software and I've showed all this process from schematic to the real PCB.
this way is the cheapest and you don't need any kind of special tools and the outcome from this method is really surprising and good.
Required tools:
ferric chloride etchant
raw plain PCB board
DC motor about more than 800 RPM
mini drill chuck
drill bit 0.5 - 0.8 - 1 - 1.5 - 2 (it depends on your components pins)
glossy paper
LaserJet printer
sand paper or wire sponge for dishwashing
waterproof marker (no whiteboard)
it's all you need and have fun making your own PCB....

Hey Man! I have a project to buy LCD screens of 15" that can be used by children as a 24/7 school module in villages far away. I want to cost less than $200, use solar power, 12 nice lithium cells, a super tough glass on top of the LCD, and a standard laptop touchpad with cellotape and 3 wires in case we should change the touchpad. The idea is that 3-5 kids can learn from thousands of books for about 10 years until the system breaks. everything is locked in cheap steel frame and metal-cement housing so it stays in one place. what do you think?
It's a very good idea actually, there is lots of driver and LCDs in the market. and driving them with solar panels won't be a problem. just use a higher input voltage, it's safer since you wanna bury it. :)

hey man.. i have an old portable dvd player.. the dvd board is not working but i think the 7 inch lcd screen is still work but the problem is which controller board i need.. it has 24 pins ribbon cable..
Look for a codename from your LCD screen and search for its driver online

I have one of those LCDs, unfortunately, their driver is not digital,(NO RGB or LVDS input) it takes a lot of time to figure it out, but the best way is to analyze the main board of the DVD player and its ICs.
