thanks for your video. that help me a lot to introduce our lifts to worldmarket.
You drill the concrete all the was through till you hit dirt and then you put in the anchor? How far above the dirt should you put the anchor?
It's not about how far above the dirt should you install the anchor. It's only about making sure your anchor is as deep as possible in the concrete. The dirt means nothing sir.
I have a 4' finger brake also and I make radius bends in a similar manner but instead of removing the fingers and drilling holes I simply welded (stitch, not continuous) a tab onto the tube. The tab is clamped down by the fingers so this technique would also work on a non finger brake. You do have to adjust the clamp back probably as far as your machine has adjustment for. You can also slide the material out and hit it again to bend past 90°. I have been able to almost roll a tube by making incremental "bumps" and keep working the material around like the roll in the top of an old stepside bed...but, you better have a brake rated several gage thicknesses larger than the material you're working with to pull it of on a full length piece.
What can i trouble shoot if my pressure guages build up, and as soon as i use it- drop to 50 and keep losing pressure
This part below seals your tank. If it loses pressure quickly as soon as you start blasting, it's quite likely this gasket has met it's maker www.redlinestands.com/catalog/shop-equipment-c-327/sand-blast-equipment-c-327_501/sand-blast-replacement-parts-c-327_501_507/redline-repp70-pressure-pot-blast-cabinet-mushroom-valve-gasket-p-2676
When it says I should be able to see the mushroom from the top of the machine, should the mushroom be firmly pressed against the bottom of the funnel or just visible?
@@Parkerparadise When the foot pedal is pressed, you should see the mushroom gasket move upward and seal against the bottomside of the funnel.
Man fuck Norco they don’t ever send instructions for this shit
Only thing I'm thinking with beach sand well ocean beach sand is I imagine it would have a high salt content and that's not all that desirable blasting say mild steel, I would think it could really beat that salt into the pores causing instant rust issues...?
Oh I agree completely. I did this test because people love to see all sorts of demos and comparisons on CZcams
Helium?
It never fails. Try to make a video to help people, and some asshole will make fun of your voice. Just once, I'd like to see one of you "gentlemen" do it to Mike Tyson's face and not hide behind that keyboard.
I WOULDNT PUT MY WORSE ENEMY UNDER THAT THING.
Look at what most Harley dealers use. Get American made with an exceptional reputation and pay once/cry once. The Handy S.A.M 1200 is the industry standard for a reason.
I know we have a difference of opinion on cylinders, pulling or pushing so my question is, does this unit uses cylinder that pools or pushes?
This is a push style chain over roller assembly. If it were a pulling or retraction cylinder it would be much taller as the cylinder would have to be fully extended while the lift was at its lowest point. Good question, thanks for posting.
that's a nice lift.
Your video is boring
Kind-hearted comments like this are a solid example of why I've never posted to Facebook in my entire life. I just have no desire to interact with people who would normally be polite in person, but are an asshole from behind their keyboard.
This is an awesome lift! But I was wondering with the wheels on the lift itself to make it portable and easier to move, once the vehicle is lifted what stops it from rolling on a smooth floor surface? Do the wheels just not move once there is weight on them?
Only one end of the lift is on wheels, so it can't roll. Good question sir.
mirrors seeing uranus! 👨🚀🪞👩🚀🪩🧑🚀🌐
Very well explained!
Thanks! I try
I powder coat at 250 20 mins
Do they mak sure the lift raises evenly not lopsided.....after a couple of years
Raising evening is the job of the equilibrium cables. If it's not raising level anymore, then you need to adjust your cable.
I installed this and it has already broke twice. I know this is going to leave me stranded with the brake locked on. I am just going to eat the cost and remove it and go back to the foot brake. You also can not use it if the ignition is on. You can never uses it if you really had an emergency while driving. It is a real neat idea and mostly works. It is just one more part to break and leave you stranded,, and it did break twice.
I can't say that I've experienced any breaking issues, but I can say that simply leaving 1 wire un-connected will allow you to use the brake while moving if that's what you wish to do.
Could you tell me where I can buy this lift?

Try using a fish tank pump for adjitation that will help in hard to get areas
👍👍👍
should be shown in all shops
i agreed! buy better, buy less. I buy USA quality products when possible but it’s very hard to find these days. I buy Snap-On USA tools even though it costs a lot more.
what size air compressor is recommended?
You'll need 8.5 CFM at 90 psi, so somewhere in the range of a 2.5 Hp compressor should do it. Just reference your compressor's specs first, because that's the end-all-be-all.
@@RedlineStands thank you! appreciate your help.
@@HiFiInsider You're very welcome
Stands to reason
Great tutorial, thank you👍👍👍
If you want to be different than all the other utube wannabes don’t brag on your self 😊😊
But my Mom says I'm amazing?!?
Will that lift a softail high enough to take the wheel off?
Sorry but today we only carry these three, all of which will work for you. www.redlinestands.com/catalog/lifts-c-290/motorcycle-atv-lifts-c-290_110/center-stands-c-290_110_187/redline-crst-collapsible-adjustable-cruiser-stand-p-755 www.redlinestands.com/catalog/lifts-c-290/motorcycle-atv-lifts-c-290_110/center-stands-c-290_110_187/kernel-motorcycle-cruiser-center-stand-jack-p-2023 www.redlinestands.com/catalog/lifts-c-290/motorcycle-atv-lifts-c-290_110/center-stands-c-290_110_187/motorcycle-cruiser-adjustable-center-stand-p-760
Does this lift the bike enough to remove either or both wheels?
Yes, but only one at a time. After you do one end, you'll move the stand to make the bike pivot to the other end.
Any details about the recommended concrete pad?
The honest answer is refer to the manual. Some lifts require 4" poured to 3000PSA and larger lifts require more.

Can I sale in kenya
My thumbs up is only for me to keep track on what I have watched on the various car videos I have watched. But deep down I wanted to give a thumbs down for your bad experience..... but a thumbs ups for sharing, soooo thanks for sharing Ian. I enjoy what you share🇦🇺
As I began shopping for a lift and realized that going from 10k to 12k switches from direct drive to chain drive, I balked a bit as I want/need the 12k. Then I thought, how are hundreds of thousands of fork-lifts (which I used to use in the workplace) doing their lifts? With chain drive. It's not the end of the world!
I agree. Direct drive is superior, but the chain drive will still last you the rest of your life just fine.
Well that sucks. Won’t be buying those hinges. I have no doubt you will get it straightened out
i would think when you buy a carbon hood that there would be a disclaimer on what hinges they reccomend. Good luck man. put a steel hood on it. so id moreso blame the hood guy especially since he said " he sees this all the time"
Maybe the hood is junk .....
We've got to understand that a carbon hood is not near as strong as a steel hood. The hood is fine. It's the bow being forced by the hinges that I must solve.
just curious about your car do you drive it without any paint coatings on it and do you get many rusty spots showing up
I only drive it in the dry right now. I'm just shaking the bugs out and this fall I'll disassemble, blast, paint, etc.
That sucks man. Have you tried: A. Removing the gas struts just to see what happens? B. Placing a 1/8 inch thick shim between the hood hinge and the hood on just the back bolt closest to the firewall to raise the back edge up and readjusting? C. Trying the hood with stock hinges and low tension springs? As for the bowing, I would suggest with the hood bolted to the car and the hood hinge springs removed, latching it in the front, and then placing some sandbags on the hood where it’s bowed up in the direct sunlight to press downward. Hope you get it straightened out.
Remove the hood and turn it upside down bolted to a couple of 2x4's then put a hair dryer or two under it. Make sure you put a stop so that when it goes the other way it wont hyper extend. When you do get it the way you want it I strongly recommend going with a hood prop as even a little pressure pushing up with a hot engine on a hot day when parked will bow it with any amount of gas shock. Just so you know I have been a professional laminator and boat builder for over 40 years, resulting in having built lots of race and street car parts in composite materials.
Thanks for the ideas!
How do you switch to ALUS mode? When I press the button it skips over ALUS.
Hey man. You mentioned that you lifted your brother Vette. Did you have to place the car more back? I have a C6 and my hoist arms are too long. Two arms are lining up with the lift points but only between the two portions of of the arm (main part and extending part)
Or perhaps is there a way to extend the lift points? I even thought maybe off centre left and and right
That was a while ago and I don't recall, but it's worth mentioning that this is the beauty of having one triple telescoping arm, which I have. Those can get nice and short when you need.
I found the Black Diamond coal slug works on everything Especially on rust
We just picked up 100lbs for $20. Have not tried it yet.
How much for you to build me one lol
LOL. About $5500
If you don't have a sand blaster could you use a chemical strip dip?
