Please put a circle track summit cam in it with a 106 centerline and no less than a 302 duration with a 500 lift... Unless u port the heads 500 is the max on flow and try to get the static compression up to at least 10.1 and do that Chevy justice... Because it's sounding like a daywhop hood caprice with no exhaust on manifolds that are not even the ram horn design... The car is to clean to have that 150hp sound... And this is coming from a Mopar guy that has big blocks and the small blocks I do have are way meaner sounding with stock internals and heads...

How I miss that sound! I had a 1970 Roadrunner with an engine close to 400…..(shut up. I’m 72). Sold it when my son was born. But, oh how I miss it. The windows would rattle when I would drive to the garage. That’s when Mama could sleep because she knew I was safe at home.

Hey man, in the original distributor rotor spark plug number 1 was pointing towards driver’s fire wall, then you installed the HEI distributor with the rotor pointing to spark plug number 1 IN THE ENGINE, is this right?
