Yes, when you go to China as a tourist or you live there as a foreigner, it is definitely very nice and has plenty of advantages. But if you were a local person, you would understand the pressures that every day local people face. Your comparison is not right, because you are comparing local people's lives in the US with foreign expats and tourists in China.... you need to compare with the local people, they have their own struggles. It's like if a UAE citizen went to Key West, Florida and stayed at the 5 star hotel there.... of course its going to be nice..... but that doesn't mean the local people aren't struggling with their situations...

Obviously English hasn't been spoken in the Colonies for hundreds of years , but the American dialect is the thing that the English find the most grating. The narrator is an example of this, e.g. saying "sense" in place of "since". I know that English outside of the UK will degenerate over time, but still, it makes one wince.

So kids would rather be a youtuber than a plumber, but we need plumbers!

I've just watched your video that you put out a year ago regarding why you didn't see that many homeless people in China. It's very informative . A few days ago, I saw a video about a Canadian who went to a Chinese hospital , saw a doctor, got the diagnoses , then got his prescription and came out from the hospital 35 minutes later for a total cost of about $12.00 Canadian. I also saw an American when went into a hospital and saw a primary care doctor, then was referred to a specialist , saw the specialist right away in the same hospital, then was referred to do the MRI or CT scan, then went back to the specialist and got the prescription written and went to the Pharmacy inside the same hospital . From start to finish, about 3 and a half hour later with the prescription in hand , all done on the same day. 80 % of personal bankruptcies here in the USA are due to unable to pay the medical bills. Health care in the US is a big for profit industries. I think in China health care is a public Service . I would love to see comments or responses from people who live and work in China or who knows how the Chinese health care systems work.

Here's the difference between "America" and "USA": America: refers to the entire Western Hemisphere, encompassing both North and South America [countries of the Americas]. So, it includes Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and all the other countries in those continents. USA (United States of America): This is a specific country located in North America. It's one of the many countries that make up America. In everyday conversation, it's common to hear "America" used to refer to the USA. However, this can be imprecise and can sometimes offend people from other North and South American countries. To be more accurate, you can use: USA or U.S. when referring specifically to the United States of America. The Americas when referring to both North and South America. North America or South America when referring to the specific continent.

Here's my answer in another video about the same topic: I'm Chinese I remember there were quite a lot of homeless people when I was little. I remembered a homeless mad woman cursing all day in the street near my home. I didn't know her story, but I don't think it's a happy one. From mid 2000s there were fewer and fewer homeless as what I observed. I think some of them just died but more of them are taken care of by the government and social welfare organizations. I remembered there were a program to find those homeless people home. The police identified them, found their families if they had any, send them back home or to an asylum. If their families have financial problem in taking care of them, they government would pay a little part of their living cost. There was an internet celebrity in 2000s who's called 潇洒哥, who was a homeless in Hangzhou city. He was captured by a street photographer when he was walking on the street with a posture like a super model on T-stage while wearing dirty rags and having a cigarette between his lips. This photo went viral. Hangzhou government find him soon after that. Identified him, found his family, paid for his treatment of his mental disease (the reason causing his homelessness). He was not cool at all in a photo of a following new article, but I guess he ended up well. I don't believe all of them have happy endings, considering we were not as rich as we are now, and our government weren't as efficient as they are now. But after a few years I stopped seeing any homeless anywhere in China.

I saw your last vidos about reasons why so few homeless people in China. They are very good analysis, but I want to add one more reason which was not mentioned and which might also relate to why you're leaving China: the socialism society, especially land ownership outside of city. Almost every Chinese citizen has a very small piece of land (tax free for ever but extremely difficult for transactions) to build house and grow produce, which either inherited from his parents, or his wife's parents, or from his grand parents. If this guy become homeless in the city, he still has the option of going back to the countryside simply farming and living by himself without sleeping on the street. But where there're pros, there're always cons. The cons are: low productity of farming which lead to much less earnings and low living quality! Although the government has spent tremendously in erasing poverty in subsiding home building, energy consumption, medicare etc. But still has a long way to go
