I realized a while ago that it would behove me to stop following people that do not look like me! And honestly, it is difficult because so much of online personas is giving RHOA! You and I are total opposites in terms of looks and other things. Only thing we have in common is age hahaha! However, our love of a healthy skin barrier is what kept me. I'm still on the hunt for my high yella baddie with a flatty patty who works a 9-5 with a family that speaks to me 😂.... thank you for this video ❤

Great tips!! A-MAZ-ZIN tops for the win! When I tried high waist pants, Lawd, I looked like Urkel. With my large bust + short waist, I don't tuck in tops, but search for skimming ones (love that black peplum top you showed) that may have a self-belt in the same color. It's a struggle, but I've just-about purged my closet of all my tents. Thanks for the encouragement!

I love these tips. Thank you. My fall wardrobe question is how do you layer without looking frumpy. I love a flannel with jeans. Or a button down with a sweater over top. I’m also short, so it’s easy for me to look frumpy. How do I get the proportions right. I’m 5’1 with big boobs, a belly and booty and thick thighs.

And to answer your question about my biggest pain point of the upcoming season, mine is finding boots with not just wide calves, but with *extra* wide calves. For reference, I wear a U.S. 6 in women’s shoes, and my calves are 17” & 17.5”. 🤦🏾‍♀️

i am not plus size i’m mid and i have apron belly so my stomach hangs most of the time crop tops with high rise bottomed look more flattering

Oh! also SWEATER DRESSES! Same issue as before with the material, but so many of them are boxy and it's hard to figure out which ones would be the most flattering with a belly.

SWEATERS! They often are so bulky and hit the lines in a weird way and bc of the material they feel harder manipulate (shorten, tuck, etc). I've watched ppl use tricks like belting/tying the sweater, but I can never seem to make those work very well in real life.

I don't wear white its not practical for me, but the contrasting pictures illustrated the difference it makes in an easy to see way. 😊 I could buy stain remover I guess

I JUST had this conversation with my sister! She bought a dress that was too big for her and she just knew it would fit me. She wears big, no shape, mini dresses and they look amazing on her with her twisty bird legs! 😂 She’s maybe a size 10 and maybe 5’4”. I’m size 16-18 and 5’8” with very large legs! Yes, I fit the dress, but I looked like SpongeBob 🟨😂😂

pain points are how to not look so bulky with layers and heavier fabrics - also shoes...seems like boots add bulk too especially if you have big calves - and lastly, i love midi dresses but what shoes to wear with in the fall? boots can't be the answer for everything...
