    Exodus 23:20-24 KJV Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off. Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. Yashua, is the Angel/messenger spoken of in the Torah. He will keep thee in the way, to Hashem. Hashem commands to obey his voice. Although we have 613 laws it was the Voice of Hashem who spoke them to all of Israel. His name/authority is in the messenger. Hashem says to do all that He speaks. He speaks and verified that the preexisting Yashua saved Israel and led them into the promised land. Today if we hear the Voice/Yashua of Hashem we will also enter the new Canaan. Shalom

      This passage is discussing that G-d will prepare the way for us to travel to Israel. The Torah doesn't speak of a messiah. There are 613 laws and not one mentions messiah or the belief in one. Also, prophecy had ended way before Jesus arrived on the scene. It was the Sanhedrin that deemed someone a prophet. Jesus was never accepted as a king as he wasn't anointed and he wasn't a prophet as the Sanhedrin didn't accept him. You can't force yourself on a people if the people reject you.

    In the Tanakh and its commentary there are several instances of supposed conversion. The mixed multitude that left Egypt. Ruth, those on the ship with Jonah and so on. But they dont seem to have gone through such a rigourous process. I would also be curious to know what other groups such as Bukharians, Beta Israel, Temani process is/was for conversion. Did Dhu Nawas go through such a process ? Surely this is not an assessment that can be made by other 'men' ? The Torah many times mentions the proselyte living amongst the people but it never seems so prohibitive on their acceptance

    *Jews must have a problem with the prophet Daniel* *Who was this Messiah the angel told Daniel about?* The Prophet Daniel gave a time frame to count from his days in captivity to the time of the Messiah. This was in relation to Jeremiah's 70 years of captivity: Dan 9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. --- *This Messiah would have to be someone who arrived literally 70 weeks after this prophecy* Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. --- *When was the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem?* Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Ezra_6:14 And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia. --- *Counting time* It's either literal or symbolic days from this commandment: 1 day = 1 day or 1 day = 1 year. 70 years literal or 490 years symbolic. So count from the date of the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem 457 BC (?) give or take. Who are the candidates? It can't be someone in the future going by the commandment to rebuild the temple. --- Two thousand years after Jesus Christ the Jews have been without a temple service waiting for another commandment to rebuild Jerusalem. That ship sailed long ago.

      Except Daniel isn't a prophet in Judaism so this angle doesn't work. His story is in the ketuvim. Not the nevim. Being a prophet goes further than just having visions.

    • @DonswatchingtheTube
      @DonswatchingtheTube Před 3 dny

      @Sparks6351 Since when? What is Judaism? It comes from within the prophecies about the seed of the woman, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, all who wasn't a Jew. What do the sacred scriptures say about Judaism and Jewish thoughts and traditions? The scriptures present them as people constantly in rebellion against the LORD and serving other God's. That critique isn't from a person but the scriptures. Daniel made prophecies in the captivity. They include the Messiah and the kingdoms of the world until the last kingdom to be on earth is God's kingdom. Why believe a Messiah is even taught in the scriptures according to Jewish history? What verses of their interpretations of the scriptures teach this?

    • @Sparks6351
      @Sparks6351 Před 3 dny

      @@DonswatchingtheTube it is in the Talmud. Daniel isn't considered a prophet in judaism. Never has been. He had visions, yes. There is a reason his writings aren't put with the other prophets in the Hebrew Bible though. Jews aren't fixated on a messiah because as Blade said...there are 613 laws and not one tell us to believe in a messiah when he comes. We don't see it as an obligation at all to believe in a messiah. G-d is perfect so He wouldn't have left that huge detail out. The Torah is the law and G-d's instructions for man. Everything else is just commentary. Lol

      @@Sparks6351 That's why I said Jews have a problem with Daniel. I know they do, and that's why they reject the Messiah and Jesus, this is not a secret, it's documented in the New Testament. What would we debate if we were living in the first century? *As I understand it:* *Hebrew Bible (Tanakh)* The Hebrew Bible consists of 24 books, which are divided into three sections: 1. Torah (Law): o Genesis o Exodus o Leviticus o Numbers o Deuteronomy *2. Nevi'im (Prophets):* o Former Prophets: Joshua, Judges, Samuel (1 & 2 Samuel), Kings (1 & 2 Kings) o Latter Prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the Twelve Minor Prophets (Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi) *3. Ketuvim (Writings):* o Psalms o Proverbs o Job o The Five Megillot (Scrolls): Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Esther o Daniel o Ezra-Nehemiah o Chronicles (1 & 2 Chronicles) *Daniel said:* Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. *Regarding Herod's Temple, Jesus said:* Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) There hasn't been a temple since 70 AD.

I remember when I was a Muslim during Trump's candidacy the American Muslim community was misled to believe that he was going to put every Muslim in concentration camps similar to the Uyghurs of China and other fear mongering tactics. When he became president, he not only worked with Muslim majority countries, he welcomed Muslim Americans who were willing to work with him. I'm not pro-Trump nor pro-Biden, I'm in the middle, but I'm really considering voting for Trump this election given Biden's cognitive decline. He is absolutely right. Judaism has evolved to adapt to the times we are living in. Orthodox Judaism is no different. The Messiah wouldn't be Jewish, Jews came from Judah. So the Messiah goes back to Adam and Eve before they had any children. To say a Jewish Messiah limits the universal nature of Adam and Eve. It makes it a private interpretation and a man-made construction. *He's also a light to the Gentiles:* Isaiah_42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. Isaiah_42:6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; Isaiah_49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Well, well, well here we go again. As GOD in reveals Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. There is nothing new under the sun! ! ! You are like a vulture looking for meat on a sun baked skeleton. 2nd Peter 3:3: 1st Corinthians 2:9: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. verse 10: But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. verse 11: For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. verse 12: Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. verse 13: Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. verse 14: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. verse 15: But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. Read the Book, "ONE PERFECT LIFE," By John MacArthur. John 1:1 to 11. Pay special attention to verses 11 and 12. I will treat your questions piecemeal, bit by bit, slowly, epigrammatically and succinctly. 1st John 2:20 to 23

    It is very simple "Jews" don't WANT to believe in Jesus, becaue it means that they will be on the same level in the eyes of God as the despised Goyim - the Gentiles And yet they are not they "Jews" of Pre-Christian times, because they do not (because they cannot) obey the legal prescriptions of the Torah regarding the worship of God: No Temple, No sacrifices no priesthood.Without these the practice of Old Testament Judaism is impossible. Moreover, it has been impossible for nigh on 2000 years. Now, they believe that God controls history. Therefore in all honesty they have to ask themselves: Why has God made it impossible for them to obey His law of Judaic worship? There is more. They will not accept Christ because they refiuse to consider the incredible testimony found in the Gospels and equally in the history of the Catholic Church of countless great miracles and prodigies, attested to by many witnesses who are beyond reproach. They shut their ears eyes, both physical and spiritual. Therefore they are culpably ignorant. It is a simple case of nationalistic and racial Hubris.

      If you are correct, why is Christianity divided up. I live in a small town filled with evangelical Protestants who despise Catholics. A minister told me that Satan has infiltrated the Roman Catholic Church.

    I am a novice at this but this is my attempt at a reply. Question 1: The Role of Jesus TLDR: There is no "second coming." Where in the Bible does it say the time requirement for the Messiah to fulfill the prophecies of bringing peace to the world and knowledge of God throughout the entire world? To my knowledge it doesn't. There is a misunderstanding amongst many Christians about the so-called second coming. Jesus never left as in to go on some vacation. He fulfilled his role as King by ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father and rule the world. Not long after Christianity became the religion of the Roman Empire with him as it's King. Before Jesus, the God of Abraham was worshipped by an incredibly small minority but after Jesus, the knowledge of God has spread throughout all continents across the globe and is only continuing. The Bible didn't say this will only be achieved in 1 month. We see the proof of Messiah everyday when we walk outside and see a church on every corner (especially in my country). Again, there is no "second coming" as is commonly understood because Jesus never left. This isn't my opinion but the view of the orthodox church.

      I like the attempt but the flaw is that if there is no time frame then there is no point in accepting Jesus as the messiah today. As he stated, when he comes back and fulfills the prophecies then we can talk about him being the messiah. It makes no sense to believe in him before. Yes, there are many churches but today many people are actually leaving religion as a whole and abandoning the church. The messiah will teach about the oneness of G-d and ALL will know Him. Jesus came and went. There are still atheists. Even if he didn't leave, at some point you have to face the fact that the prophecies have not been fulfilled so there is no reason to accept a claim beforehand.

      @@Sparks6351 We know that Jesus came, and we see the prophecy of the knowledge of God being spread across the world today. Humans are complicated and just because we see some of them reject God today does not mean Jesus is not who he claimed to be. Many instances in the bible of God manifesting himself only to still be rejected. To me, Jesus is fulfilling the prophecies as we speak. I will add that I do not accept Jesus as the messiah, however, I think there is an 85% chance he probably is. I think about it often and I am not yet fully decided. Thanks for the response.

    • @Sparks6351
      @Sparks6351 Před 18 dny

      @@24434sa I disagree. More people are abandoning G-d in favor of their own authority. That is what the polls show. The role of the messiah is to bring everyone back to G-d. Jesus didn't do it and some just can't accept the fact that he didn't. Jesus was only made popular because Paul reinvented him and presented him to the pagan world which they accepted. The role of the jewish messiah was clear. No one expected someone to die for the sins of mankind because that goes against the Torah. No one expected the messiah to come and then leave and then come back and the leave and then come back to fulfill the prophecies. That is a psychological way to cope with the failure. The very sources we have on Jesus didn't even come from his own account. The gospels are anonymous books and we know Paul introduced Christianity to pagans. In order to do so, he had to accept some of their concepts as well to make it appealing. We don't have peace, we don't have a universal knowledge of G-d, we don't have a third temple built so I'm not just what prophecies you are talking about that Jesus is fulfilling. I think many christians make up prophecies as they go. Then there is still the issue of Jesus's genealogy that invalidates him from being the messiah. So just based on that, there is a 0% chance that he can be the messiah because you can't change who your biological parents are. Thanks for the respectful reply.

      There is just such a complete misunderstanding about the concept of the Messiah. Somehow 2,000 years ago Christians who had embraced Jesus as the Messiah had to come up with something to explain why he was killed. So they came up with the second coming or he's still here or whatever variety of explanation quotes around among the 40,000 plus different sects of Christianity. The Messiah is a human being. Not a demigod. He is in the direct patrilineal line of King David. That alone, if you believe Jesus was not one of an earthly father, disqualifies him. Jesus was just like Hercules and Dionysus but that is not who the Hebrew Messiah will be. How do you know that? Read what Ezekiel says the final king will do at the third Temple.
