How you get the spell: scroll of detect secret Doors?

I'm trying to play a Sword Saint in Wrath, and there 80% of enemies are demons, so when I laid out how many feats I'd need so that the few spells I have don't just fizzle out, I kind of lost hope. You didn't fit into your build spells feats, and that's very discouraging.

Laying student of stone myself going aeon. It’s a solid build and can be very tanky. My ki powers were a little different. Went with bark skin first, then I got restoration to remove exhaustion, fatigue and attribute damage. Then I got speed to make up for the lack of increased mobility that oread stone students miss out on. Then they were about the same as yours. As an aeon, my gazes increase my attack and damage overall but also for the whole party while reducing it for all enemies around me, which effectively raises my AC and damage reduction even further. One of my mythic abilities is unrelenting assault, which means so long as I make an attack in a round the damage increases by +2 to a maximum of +20. So the longer a fight goes on the more overall damage I do. 2d10+20+all other modifiers is huge late game. Add in +10 attack at mythic rank 10 from a gaze for all companions and myself while reducing it by that much among all enemies and I am a killing machine.

I know this is an old video, but I'm about 2mos in and have restarted a few times bc i kept messing things up. Just want to thank you for going in depth on the skills and feats bc so few do. Also if you see this, is there a reason I never see ranger fighter 2 weapon fighting? I had 12 in rngr 6 in fghtr and felt pretty strong, after legend ot was 20 ranger 13 fighter, moved 16 fghter, then plan on dipping rowdy rogue 1 and slayer 3 for vital and sneak. feels stronger at base then ranger rogue or slayer. But there might be hidden mechanics missing.

Having watched this several times I am still kind of Meeeeh to the whhole class, I find that a divine caster ( vendictive bastard is labeled as such) that can not cast spells at all is worthless. she is NOT a fighter and any fighter propperly leveld will out DPS and out Tank her. Any paladin, as this is the best comparison is useless without spells, so I still on the fence and still will not sue her for anything other than advisor role, I have to endure her worthlessness until I get ANY other companion, I even founf Harrim as a sacret fist to be better combatant, and as for support I would choose any spell caster that can cast spells, evren my own rouge with the minir and maor magi abilities. I still do not understand how a non casint caster can be worth anything

I wonder if that build will be viable for Wrath of Righteous. I plan to play as Dragon Mystery Oracle there ^^ In KM I play as Sorc mixed with Dragon Disciple. What level you get first dragon transformations with this build? Lvl 17 seems to be a bit late for me to be able to play more as a dragon. In KM I will get dragon form I at lvl 12, so it's far far earlier.

Thanks for this build guide, I'm trying the game out now after playing too much of WOTR. I also decided to install Tweak or Treat to give myself a good Smite Chaos Paladin subclass (this game REALLY needed Enforcer, that would be so fitting against feys) and I think it's going to be quite a blast to play.

only 20 minutes in 😁 but if you run out of spells can you not use a wand with a touch attack spell? Im sure one of the abilities/feats you can take is wand mastery where you can use it as part of your melee attack. cud be wrong tho.

Legitimately I think I would absolutely love the inquisitor class, a divine spontaneous spellcaster sounds amazing. But I hate that hat so much that I can't make myself build a character with it, and I don't want to play with an undead in my party because having to have two incompatible sets to heal sounds like a nightmare

Great video. I still don't think I'll take Tristian, but it gives me an idea of what his role is if I ever decide to pick him up again. Plus these videos are really helpful for someone new to the game. Personally I strongly prefer Harrim, while selective channel is nice it doesn't bother me enough to heal some of my enemies, I'd rather negate that damage by having a decent off-tank. When I first played I used Tristian a lot, but then I got to a point where I couldn't use him and had to bring Harrim or hire a Merc, I was level 11 or something at this point so mercenaries were really expensive and I already hired one to get a decent wizard, so I took Harrim, and yeah he had less channels, but I needed them way less, never taken Tristian since even when I got the opportunity Healing your enemies sucks but it's mostly a mental thing, I'm at least almost always concentrating fire, so healing an enemy for one attacks worth of damage isn't the end of the world, and once you get access to haste you can usually position yourself to only heal buddies Now that I've got more experience I want to see if there's any way to make Tristian borderline useful, I've been toying with the idea of making him a mystic theurgist, but that means he's going to suck until level 9ish, and there's reasons I don't emphasize the levels around that point.

And again: A solid build that I really appreciate, but more than 2 hours long! For example: I got the idea behind "Bashing Finish" after 10-15 seconds, but it's again bla, bla, bla for about 2 minutes... Dude, brevity is the sould of wit! In addition, some comments to the build itself: - Weapon Focus is nice to have, but there are better choices. Instead of hitting better become harder to hit: Dodge, Shield Focus etc. - Instead of Greater TWF I recommend taking Blind Fight early, because at about level 13 there are already many enemy creatures with gaze attacks. - Double Slice has no real impact with a crit-build, especially not so late in the game. Better to take some teamwork feat that really makes a difference, e. g. outflank, shield wall etc. - Missile Shield is a good choice, too. - If you play an Aasimar, take Wings for AC +3.

First thing I noticed: nearly TWO HOURS long!!! This is far too long, especially since it is not about the info, but you talk too much. Sorry, I had to mention this.

Actually maximize spell is mathematically superior to empower not the other way around, which is why the maximize feat's penalty is +3 levels whereas empower's only a +2. The math behind it is very simple, lets take the D6 die as it's the most common, the expected value of an individual roll is 3.5((1+2+3+4+5+6)/6=21/6=3.5), with empower you add 50% so 3.5x1.5=5.25 which is clearly smaller than the maximum roll of 6. Another way to look at it is to find the equilibrium, which for a D6 die is 4, 4x1.5=6. Thus any roll lower than 4, so 1, 2 or 3 or half the possible results, ends up with a smaller value, the value 4 itself gives the same, or 1/6th the possible results and only if you roll 5 or 6 than empower becomes superior to maximize, or 1/3rd of possible results. Empower and Maximize are equal on a D3 die, which isn't really a thing, as the expected value in a D3 die is 2((1+2+3)/3) and 2x1.5=3. Thus for any die higher than a D3 maximize is superior to empower. Now there's the issue of spells with a die roll + caster level. Caster level is technically a constant(a dynamic constant but still a constant) thus it shouldn't be affected by empower as it's only supposed to affect variables. However I haven't kept track of that in-game to see whether the game actually improves the +caster level value with empower or not. If it doesn't, which is what should happen, than the above statement always holds true in-game. If it does however than the math gets a bit more complicated as you have to calculate the difference between empower and maximize for those spells' specific die roll values and compare those to 1.5 times the caster level. There are bound to be instances where empower would become superior in this case. So for those very specific niche cases(which won't be optimal to begin with) empower(due to bad coding) would be superior to maximize.

The main reason to not take the melee build on Jubilost is because it's so much worse than a player character doing it or a mercenary so you can not be a gnome(-2 size, reduces legendary proportions impact), can pick Vivisectionist(way better if going melee) and opt out of the point blank and precise shot feats which aren't really doing much for you as a melee alchemist, especially if you're using greater invisibility for all those sneak attacks, with that on barring see invisible enemies you can't suffer attacks of opportunity when invisible. Still a viable build, at least for lower difficulties, but to get the most out of him rather than just force yourself to use him the ranged build is vastly superior as it's much less wasteful on subpar predetermined choices.

Getting archery feats and spells for Octavia is rather pointless as her BAB is terrible for an archer and shouldn't be used as such. Her point is to sneak attack with ranged touch attack spells and that's where her focus should be. I wouldn't use her as a buffer either as you really need all your spell slots for damage spells to actually deal damage with her as she's basically an archer that needs to burn a spell each round she attacks and with Rogue's skill utility(well almost but good enough for the most part). This makes her starting transmutation school mastery not nearly as punishing as you shouldn't really care about necromancy nor abjuration spells with her, leave those for an arcane buffer like say her boyfriend Regongar who is perfect for that role. I mean sure, you're not really going to get much mileage out of the transmutation mastery but at least it's not hampering you that much if you build her properly.

Hey. I have a question and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. As a sorcerer and an angel mythic path. How do I access my mythic path spells in my quickbar? I can prep them in the spellbook, but then when I click on the S on the quickbar my sorcerer spells pop up. I have no idea how to add the mythic spells to my quickbar and actually use them?

Just curious as to why you take Two-weapon fighting in the melee build when you'll be using bombs in combat and you can't offhand bombs.

Harrim doesn't suck if you turn him into your teams necromancer and specialize him into summoning spoopy-skeletons. Aaaaaah, such scary beastie... it's be a pitty if he get surrounded and flanked... necormancy!

Level 11 I doubled Enk as a Rouge just to give him a nice sneak attack, with haste casted and Devourer of steal bow equipped his 4 strikes on a new enemy all have sneak attack bonuses. Takes down a cyclopes in one attack 90% of the time.
