thanks. Do you think it’s necessary to prime small things? I’m planning to get MG Barbatos but i only want to paint the yellow part to gold (which is not much), and some tiny detailing in the inner frame. I just founs the whole process of priming and re painting is grueling for just small parts of the gunpla.

From my experience, most cracks happened when the paint stuck in seam line rather than panel line. When the paint stuck in seam line, it takes longer time to dry which means more time to erode plastic. It could happen when you do panel line after assemble. It is better to do panel line before assemble for some parts. if you are not sure, just do panel line on each part first then assemble later. I use only black.

I don't have problem with mine. maybe becuz I applied topcoat on the yellow part so, it is a little bit stiffer. You may use tamiya cement to glue it. just a small drop should be enough.

I understand your feeling and i hope they release it as regular kit too. However if you look closely to the official price, it is actually similar to other regular hg kits. They do this not because of they want more money but they wanna save money. Who knows they may have tons of kit in stock that really cant sell because those kits are not popular and have to spend more money to recycle them.

@@Armstudiogunplaspeedbuild I live in Canada, its not unusual for a pbanda kit to go for 3X the cost because of scalpers. This is a problem that wouldn't happen if bandai didnt artificially limit the supply.

@@Abcdefghijklmnopqrstubwxyz123 The clear coat as known as topcoat is the last thing you apply on the parts. It comes after colored paint, panel line and decals. It makes everything become same level of flatness or shininess depend on type of topcoat you use.

Normally 2 weeks if im not lazy.
