Look at the roof of a restaurant called 'Prohibition Kitchen' in St Augustine, FL. That kind of roof tile would be awesome here.

Have you ever heard of the multi-mix design using art Deco pieces mixed with industrial style pieces with geometric shapes and cubist style art with modern furniture. Those styles are my total jam. I have picture files with how I see each room looking and surprisingly they all look really good and I don't even know how to decorate. LOL

Your roots are showing

I personally would've went with a darker yet warmer tone wood flooring to give it that true Dark Academia type of style. However, this isn't bad at all. I just feel the flooring is a bit too light for the overall design. The client wanted it that way, though. So I get why it wasn't switched out.

It also makes it look like vampires live there. I’m sorry, keep their coffins there.

Made the room look so much taller, especially the window with the high curtain trick. Looks amazing. I've never understood how most people I come across have intensely white, cream, beige, tan, homes. It's so bland and boring.

Flippers are a plague on society. They always go by whatever is trending and make everything look extremely cheap and sterile.

I love the way u explain things. Focus on masculine,dark moody interior design, nobody is really doing that...and what new smart gadgets or smart deco items that can simplify or looks cool....can be as simple as suggesting a leather tray to your viewers and etc. Just suggesting since i'm in marketing for more than 15years...i think thats your strength.
