I don't understand your problem, there are still much larger tank boxes, so the remarks you make would be even more obvious. In addition, most tank box assemblies are on the tank cap and not offset like on the V.85

Nice video! I am waiting for my BMW IX Xdrive50 to arrive from USA and I am looking for a second hand charge port + cable loom that fits my CCU (which BTW is the same as the 11kw European one). According to ISTA manual It's easy swap of the cables for mine, but we'll see how it goes, when it's here

Hi, Could you describe how did you installed the TCM module in your i3 from another BMW ?

Very nice! I looked at a used V85 tt that was dropped on the left side. It had the original crash bars and was scraped just forward of where you pointed. I also noticed the engine developed an oil leak along the seam where the crankcase gets joined. Nothing major I think but it was wet. I did not buy it for fear something more serious was broken. Has anyone else seen or experienced this?

If you have a 1400cc Guzzi, (California, Custom or Eldorado) you’re not going to like what you need to do to change the gear case oil. You can drain it (DON’T) until you fully understand what you need to do to get to the oil filler port to fill it up with gear oil.

I used Molyslip in my gear box on my California EV wow smooth although the manual states not use additives why is this????

The airbox lid for the new 2024 models was improved but unfortunately the new lid does not fit on the previous E4 and E5 models. The shape of the back is more protruding - the bevel is not there. If you look at the recently released spare parts catalogs for the 2024 models changing these parts:... 1. battery box: 2B011780, 2. battery holder: 2B011781 + 3x AP8150509 self-tap screw 5x14, 3. filter holder (aka airbox lid): 2B011834. Thanks for the video, your bike looks great. Two tips to avoid sucking air into your system. (1) Don’t pump the brake while bleed valve is open, every time you release the pedal you risk sucking air in through the bleeder.You must pump first, keep the pedal held down, then open the blender to let some fluid out and close it again, before releasing the pedal, and repeat until old fluid is bled. (2) Don’t let fluid in the reservoir drop to the very bottom, keep topped up with new fluid through the procedure, otherwise you will introduce air here also. Air in the system will cause spongy brakes.

Same here, the airbox design is simply bad. There are two places where dust can get in. 1.where the two halves of the airbox fit together. There is a rubber seal sitting in a groove in the 'fixed' half. You can take it out, apply silicone grease to that groove, put the seal back, more grease over the seal. Then when the two airbox halves are joined together they'll seal a lot better and not allow dust in through there. 2. where the actual air filter sits - that piece can deform and let dirty air bypass the air filter. The solution there is either an aftermarket filter with better seal/lip. Or alternatively a company called Gamma Zinken produces some 3d printed pieces which fit into the airbox and basically keep that from deforming. Or a combination of both.

Hi Kristis, thanks for your video. I am somewhat concerned about my V85 gearbox, Its a 2020 model that i bought in 22 with 3K km on it.Has about 11K km now. The last few months gear changes 1st -3rd are making me weep as they seem to be getting harsher. I am wondering if this is what you were experiencing. I have tried to adjust the clutch in/out but no improvement. Changes 4 - 6th are perfect. I am off to the mechanic this week. I dont have anywhere to work on it presently. Interested if this is what you were experiencing?

Just had my break in service done and the Piaggio shop did the engine, transmission, and final drive gearbox. We had a conversation about it as I’ll be doing the next few services out on the road and he went by his shop manual and put 180cc in the gearbox…. 🤔 He seemed very knowledgeable… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hay Mate mine was the First one ☝️ made , I sent my airbox to them “ they work fantastic “ , I do slot of off road as well , I’m from Australia. I had my serviced at 10,000km COMPLETELY dust free ! The Moto Guzzi dealer was SUPER IMPRESSED 👍

I have installed a K&N filter and I'm happy with the performance. The sound of the intake is the same and it fits tighter than the stock However, I am looking to install the air box brace to prevent warping and unfiltered air entering to intake. AF1 racing is a company selling it here in the US if I am not mistaken.

In all my airheads, k1100lt and v7 iii I use this additive - one tube per 1l 75/140 gl5 gear oil. Both for gearbox and final drive. Makes a lot of difference. My v7 and even 80Gs change gears like Japanese bikes.

I had the same experience, only 500cc of old oil, even when I hung my Guzzi and tried different angles to drain more oil, and waited for one hour. No more than 500cc. Filling it with 700cc
