I think it would allow you to pump the water higher because the inline check valve takes back pressure off the pump temporarily. Was it a 2 lb. spring or a 5 lb. spring in the valve? It might make a difference and the weaker may be better for a longer opening time.

Hey Seth, I upgraded my swing valve to a modified check valve and saw significant improvements to my flow. I increased the bolt length of the valve and added support, you can calibrate the pump to the flow by changing the open distance of the valve by adjusting a lock nut on the extended bolt. Weight can be added to the bolt if there's more flow to be harnessed. I'd love to see you try DIYing some valves and testing them.

have you even tried that laser wavelength won't go thru the orange plastic? Most chinesium laser goggles and protection usually is useless and the laser pass thru them as well.

Im mechanical inclined, and having watched multiple videos and doing research online. I would hire a contractor to assist me with a install. There’s a lot of calculations that has to be done to insure it meets your particular needs.

So basically the surge protector doesn't get installed in a series but is more of a passive device meaning it only has to be on a live circuit anywhere connected to the panel

Good review and very helpful. I just installed my CINOTON 26W LED today. The punch-out bits had to be taken out with a power drill. No way can you punck those out. I had problems getting one of the outer screws out as they must have power torqued it on in the factory. I sprayed the screw with WD40 3 times and left it for aged but in the end took a junior hacksaw to that corner! When I installed it I put silicone ont the back, edges and down the side where the gasket is. I put my hand on the sensor and it powered on after 5 seconds. I just hope the 50,000 claim is good and I don't have to open it again.

Why is the turbine so far away from the intake? Why the long pipe? Is it not cheaper to make longer electricity cabels instead of a longer thick water pipe? Or is the transport through the long pipe adding to the pressure or power needed?

Where did you get the 2inch spin down filter?

I bought one of these to take camping in Alaska. Love the unit, the only thing that’s counter-intuitive to me is that I have to press a button to activate the unit to charge. I had my solar panels sitting outside but the unit wasn’t charging. Then, I realized I had to press that button. As a product designer myself, I think the solar panels should activate as soon as I plug them in to the unit. Small detail.

Nicely done. I see a drain fitting in the bottom side of the of the stock tank. An overflow like you have on your storage tanks at home would keep the water fresh and might help move sediment from the bottom.

Well it definitely isn’t going to work with parts that are not air tight and falling off.

For a fraction of the price of that power station, you could have an electric outlet installed at the garden. Batteries are bad for the environment.

The design of this relay is two power INPUTS to one power OUTPUT...example: 12v battery and 110v shore power go into relay switch, select which power to be used, with the selector knob and done. The jumper cable explanation makes this use confusing.

To save all the faff, I would be tempted to put the drill pump in a valve off by pass loop. You could even incorporate drain valves to help remove the sediment. Tee off before the ram pump and loop to the drill pump then reconnect after the ram. You could still use the brook to charge the drill. And if you were really concerned about sediment you could put a strainer on the feed pipe. Just a thought. Nice simple vid👍🏼
