Is it just because you're paying for it now and then she's gonna pay for the college later? Or are the college credits cheaper as a dual enrollment student? TiA!!

I am loving making my way through your videos! All your information is so helpful. I was wondering if you’ve done or if you can do a post on how you record keep? If you have a system you use to keep track of your kids academic accomplishments and grades, so that when they do reach college age they have credible information to present? I am super new to this so bare with me while I scratch the surface and possibly ask questions on many of your videos 😉

I recommend taking your history loving son to Fort Sumter on your trip out east. I don't know where in Georgia you will be, but it's closer to Charleston than Nevada. 😉 For history lovers, it's a fun boat ride out to a historical fort. 👍👍

Ugh! I will dread that day when Barbies and Babies are done. I played with both until I was 15, so I'm hoping my youngest daughter will also! 😆 She's 11 now, so I'm just waiting for the day. I can't wait to hear where in GA you went. We are in Pendergrass. I would LOVE to "run into you" some time. IF that ever happens, just know, I MAY she'd real tears! 😆 You've been a solid rock in my life since we first began our homeschool journey, 7 years ago.

As far as University Success, for some reason it’s not on their list as a DE class, so that’s why it wasn’t recommended.

I got my master’s in educational leadership from GCU. My daughter will be starting dual enrollment this summer. GCU lets you do dual enrollment as a sophomore, which many don’t do.

Hello! This is going to be first year homeschooling my kiddos (5th and 2nd grade)! We are going to be using TGTB and I’m so excited, I really appreciate all of the info you share and great advice! I was wondering if you have a discount code for TGTB that your followers get to use? I saw that they had a sale a few months back but we hadn’t made our final decision yet and that code no longer works. Just figured I would ask. Did you look into Liberty University for dual enrollment also? If so, what made you go with Grand Canyon instead?

My state offers free dual enrollment for state universities. Private offers a discount. My previous institution offers dual and discounts for those that a parent is a current or was a previous student. My current institution offers free dual enrollment because of the program I'm in. Parents may want to look into their alma mater's to see what is offered. Also I've seen trade schools offering lower cost options for dual enrollment. There are a lot of options out there and the past several years have become very accomodating for homeschoolers.

I live in Phoenix. We are doing dual enrollment at GCU as well. I have been quite disappointed at the secular nature of this Christian school. I have friends taking graduate level classes and it might as well be a state school. It's fine for dual enrollment online, though. I'm glad my daughter is getting her courses for less than $100/hour!

We have done limited dual enrollment ( for a variety of reasons) but the ones we did were all at Faith Bible Baptist in Akeny Iowa. Most of my kids probably won't attend there because they have very limited majors ( mostly church work) but they are super strong in doctrine. We are also close enough that my kids can go during the summer and they do a summer jumpstart program to take a week of summer class and then finish it at home online so that is a good taste of college experience. I'm sure other colleges do similar things as people look around.

Merit does have some great things but "clean" beauty is not something that is regulated so when a brand says it's clean take it with a grain of salt.

I'm not at the stage of using the master books electives just yet, but I'm curious how your kids do them independently. Please excuse my ignorance if I've got it all wrong, but the electives seem to be designed to be taught by a teacher. Do they use the teacher's guide on their own?

When working through the BJU press online courses are they live or can they pause if they need to?

I saw your flip through on Apologia Health and Nutrition several years ago. I see you are using PACE this year. Did you continue the Health and Nutrition? The Apologia looked very detailed and interesting, but I'm wondering if it is worth it for the 1/2 credit required in my state. Thank you!
