Grass Snake in UK Residential Street Goes For a Walk - Natrix Helvetica
5pm on a summer evening and out for a walk we came across this lovely grass snake in the middle of the road! Amazingly about 75 minutes later we ended our walk and found the same snake in another street not far away.

Kruger Sighting - Injured leopard walks alongside car in national park South Africa

I believe this leopard is the famed 'Porky' that is noted for attacking porcupines in the area just north of Tshokwane Tea Room on the main road. We saw him attack a porcupine and fail, getting loads of quils stuck in him. He has a chunk out of his rump as you can see from the attack. This was filmed after he had removed the quils and was then walking north. Eventually he headed off the road in...

The traffic was busy behind us as ever, and so I told him to stand still. As Conc...

Oh wow, they sang the original album version of China in Your Hand! What a voice! What a privilege it was to grow up with these bands!
Absolutely sensational. I've been searching CZcams for months to find out how I change my Tripp suitcase wheel and here it is! No more searching, it's time to change that broken wheel! Thank you Tigershoot, you've saved me time, money and sanity 🎉

Wow thank you ❤
I was a young soldier in the 101st Abn Division out of Ft Campbell, Ky in 87,88 and 89, cant remember what year it was but I believe it was 88 when I first heard T'Pau. Feeling like the indestructible soldier I believed I was, driving in my 86 toyota truck, windows down, (NO AC) I was listening to a radio station from Clarksville, Tn and they had "request hour". Some guy, another soldier I believe asked for "Heart And Soul", I'll never forget what he said as he requested it. He said, " no matter where I'm at, or what we're doing, when I hear Heart And Soul I know everything will be alright". Thats why I believe he was another soldier, sometimes a song could transport you away from whatever we had going on, I needed to hear that. To this day I love this song and it takes me back to a time when I was as wild as the wind and as strong as an oak tree and had endurance like that of an Olympic athlete. As soon as I hear the base line, I'm back in my 86 toyota, free as a bird, not a worry in the world with a lifetime ahead of me. Thank you for the memories of gold.
Very interesting to hear. Being a UK band I always think it amazing that they initially broke in the US. I know what you mean about songs and their ability to transport you back in time. Music is a very powerful thing.
@@tigershootit is. I was in the desert in a fighting position and singing “straight up” by Paula Abdul one night. I remember looking through my nods (night vision device) scanning for movement singing that song …quietly😅😅 but years later I realized I was singing even during moments that could’ve been my end, maybe I’m messed up somehow but I survived and still love music.
@@XRakkgruntX You can't be messed up - proof that you love T'Pau is evidence of that.
Decker says now how 'T'pau' was really just her and Ron and the others were hired hands, but regardless, they were a really tight unit here. Saw them on the 'Rage' tour before it all fell apart and they were a fantastic live band.
Bridge of Spies my favorite song. Should have been released as a single. Heart and Soul should have been No 1. Way too quick out of the charts. Terribly underrated. They should have been huge. Not promoted enough by record company. Always the story unfortunately.
Precious footage of old JNB thank you!
Cany beat it 👌
I was going to a concert at the Hammersmith Odeon except it was called the Hammersmith Apolo in 1991 to see David Hasselhoff being from Hull my mum and i had to get coach tickets to and from London,a hotel overnight, concert tickets and spending money,we got all that only to learn one week before the concert was due to happen that it was cancelled due to poor ticket sales.I was so devastated as i am a big Hasselhoff fan. Luckily we managed to get refunds on everything,i know this has nothing to do with T'Pau but mentioning the Hammersmith Odeon reminded me of that time. However, great concert and thanks for posting.
Carol was good. She is appearing at the Flackstock festival on July 22nd 2024,wherever that is?
Izs Carol on Instagram?
Who were the band members? What was their names?
Carol Decker, Ronnie Rogers (rhythm), Dean Howard (lead), Paul Jackson, (bass) Tim Burgess, (drums) Michael Chetwood (keys)..
T'Pau were great, those guys can really play, they were great musicians and i loved Carol Decker, she could sing. Are they still going today?
Carol is still going on the retro circuit, sometimes with Ron in tow, and a group of new hired hands. This line up broke up at the end of the 'Promise' tour.
I was going to a concert at the Apolo in 1991,i had the coach travel booked to and from home, the tickets and the hotel booked only to receive a phone call and notification through the fan club that the concert had been cancelled,it was to see David Hasselhoff and i was so heartbroken.
Are they still alive and touring now, does anuone know?
My dad always thought she couldn't sing, said she wasn't singing, she was shouting
I remember them when i first heard them on Top Of The Pops when they sung Heart And Soul.I liked them and always thought their music was great
I am thankful I was Alive for the 80's!!! Got Lucky. America was so Different!! Love to ya X Well Done you were the first to be the Last
I love her, Especially Heart and Soul. I tried - REALLY tried to listen to Red (I belieive that was her album) but couldn't connect. Beautiful woman and singer, but am I wrong with a "narrow range" opinion? Her Red album seemed like of yelling Again - like her alot, but something in range........
No, I agree- loved them at the time but she is actually quite limited and shouty.
I was there at Mildenhall on both days, rocket climb to 25,000ft,Flt lts Antony Parky Parkinson and David Jabba Hake,Tornado F3 display crew for 1999/2000,Parky now flies the Spitfire with the BBMF,and he was the first pilot in the world to get 1000hrs on typhoon,Bring back The Air Fete.
Amazing. I have photographed him at Headcorn with the Spitfire. That's where I first heard of him.
@@tigershoot He’s had hell of a career in RAF jets, and even on an exchange with the Dutch flying F-16s,And he flew the Phantom and Typhoon
I saw them twice; once at the NEC on the Rage tour and then at Hammersmith Odeon on the Promise tour which had to be re-arranged because Carol had lost her voice. The original gig was called off with about 2 hrs notice and the re-arranged one was about a month or two later. And that was one of the best live performances that I've seen at the Odeon by anyone. I think it was that line-up's last performance at the Odeon and they absolutely f**king nailed it. A very very very capable live act back in the day.
I saw them on that tour too. Newcastle city hall. Presumably this must have been before she lost her voice as the gig I went to was not a rescheduled date. They were incredibly loud - the second loudest band I have ever seen (the loudest being Nazareth in 1981). Dean Howard's guitar on one solo was actually ludicrously loud. Man I miss those times.
@@tigershoot That sounds about right. The Hammersmith Odeon one was the last night of the tour if I remember rightly.
Isn't the Hammersmith Odeon now the Hammersmith Appolo?
Atill have this on VHS. 😁
I'm having an almost similar problem, it does crank but donor start and shows no engine light
Fantastic was there at this concert if was electric i can still remember it so well love this band and her Fantastic voice. Me t her many years later when doing a smaller gig, that was also fantastic and so lovely to meet this beautiful lady. Thank you T pau for the wonderful music the last 30 odd years stil love it so much today. 😊😊😊❤
Will never forget this sxc voice. China in yr hand. My heart broke. <3
You know there's not a great deal of information regarding G-BOAC's last flight... did she just fly straight to Manchester or did she fly across the Atlantic for so long just to go Supersonic once more before landing at Manchester?
She flew subsonic straight to Manchester. It was a dull day I remember that. There were very few on the Northern Perimeter road to see her off.
Enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. They were a serious rockin' band!
We were in Joplins on the Saturday it closed.
My parents bought their first microwave in Joplings in 1983. Seems weird now, but a Toshiba turntable microwave was £300. That's £970 in today's money! At least it came with a hardback recipe book.
My little 15 year old self went to this tour in Poole art centre. Such good memories... it was my first concert. I had this video on VHS i was such a tpau fangirl. Its as good as i remember. Thank you for uploading this.
Nice and undiverse then.
The most beautiful machine ever.
Would you happen to have any of the footage of "Ellis beggs and Howard" supporting tpau in 1988? Thank you
No. I have never heard of them.
They were superb, weren't they?
Seen them 3 times in concert and they just got better and better carol and the boys are first class
I was at this concert - fabulous. Many years later, I saw T'Pau again in a small theatre for an Acoustic concert - wow, Carol can definitely sing live. That one was probably even better than this one, given that it was an acoustic set and relied heavily on her
I was there the day after. Still have the concert ticket stub. Also saw them again at Wembley Arena 2 years later. Were awesome!!
They weren't a Brummie Band ,they where from SHREWSBURY, SHROPSHIRE.. loud and proud !!!!!??
@user-wv8zm3sl7x Both ghastly hellholes, so what does it matter?
They were Shrewsbury based with ronnie the only member from Shrewsbury with mickey (keyboards & paul bass player) & carol all though born in Liverpool (lived in wellington telford) so they were more telford 😂 not that it matters anyway 😂
Carol Decker is recovering from major surgery Sept. 1, 2023. She had to have her colon removed. Usually that's not a good sign. With much love, get well Carol.
Can't believe she sings this well LIVE !
I saw them supporting Bryan Adam’s at Wembley in ‘87. They remain the only band I’ve ever seen that played a song more than one at the same gig. Heart and Soul.
Valentine is a absolute masterpiece ❤
Carol Decker is unbelievable. 80's concert videos were not. That constant scene switching ever second or so was the absolute WORST part about concert or just plain music videos from the 80's in general. They still kind of do that to a point today, but not to the same extent. I really only wanted to see Heart and Soul, since I don't know any of their other songs, but I couldn't watch any more thanks to that scene switching nonsense. I must say that the band sounded very good, tho, and of course, Carol looked unreal <3.
I had my first born baby in 97 and would shop at greatermans and babours for baby wear wat a geat year❤
Everyone should boycott these horrible delivery companies...they treat people like total slaves. Not even supplying them with any form of ppe
looks like his chain came off. glad he's okay. delivery peeps are hard workers
I feel for the guy! Crap delivery job with crap wages, in crap weather! Deffo feel for the guy!
And then i wonder why my Pizza looks the way it looks haha
I just know he felt that later
Being a delivery man in the rain is one of the worst jobs ever, i worked in a dominos in Portugal and they had these crappy electric bikes with very thin tyres they slide every turn and every downhill, and they were capped at 50km/h so everyone one would pass you and Splash you, and the best part is that we earned minimum wage
Btw there was a tiping culture for delivery people in portugal, and most portuguese people give us 50 cents at average, but because of migration alot of brasilians came and they don't tip at all, now i work at as a carpinter helper
If someone offers me a job in an English speaking country i m in, i m a stand up citizen, i work hard, and i speak English very well.
