    30 videos in 30 days is a heck of a commitment! Nice work! Fingers crossed that everything works out with the HELOC and congrats on the 0% balance transfer opportunity. I think they can be a great tool to help get traction with debt.

    I don't have any advice regarding the HELOC and hope you are successful if you guys determine that's the best way to go! Is there any opportunity for whomever you'd bring in to do the roof repair to offer financing as another alternative?

    I commented on a few of your videos and seeing now the balance transfer I would stop saving or just put $50 in drastic I know but that’s to give you extra money to go towards the debts, and if you could cut back some spending even if it’s $50 that would give you at least $400 to pay off debt- I would start with paying off BOA and HD first since they are smaller balances then go to Amazon, and continue with a snowball, it may seem like a lot but if you have $400 extra to dump you will pay off quicker

    In terms of the $15k I would try the HELOC or possibly try to find another home insurance company, the HELOC will be a better rate as long as you have the equity to pull from your home..another cc may not give you the entire $15k needed so it will be an extra inquiry for no reason. Personal home improvement loan would also be good but I would try for HELOC 1st. The $15k with interest might be a $400-$450 monthly payment depending on the interest sorry you are stressed but at least the repair will be done. As for tracking I would save receipts and you can tally up at end of day and if you use your debit card just add what you have on your checking account to the tracking sheet along with any receipts
