Walking round the fort to get to the guns, stunning views round the coast and out to sea, views of the rest of the fort which is down a long winding road where you will see more fort buildings and guns. I can't imagine the stifling heat there, especially in a caravan but you seem to be managing it well.
It can get too much at times, we keep the curtains closed and the fans on, luckily we have a pool with some shade over it but even the pool water is around 30 degrees most days 🥵

I guess weather-wise here is much more unpredictable but so much more bearable. However, I think the UK would start actually melting at constant 40 deg heat! Yes once you get to the Sierra de Espuna there are plenty of signs for the Pozos, and there is just one road up and one down, definitely worth a visit. Watch out for wild boar!! 😁
