I haven't done any major tests for range. I guess it depends on the other device transmitter or receiver. When I first built it I noticed double range from activating a tesla but I didn't do any real world range test.

I wouldn't think it would go past 10m mark. It would vary depending on what is surrounding you. Concrete, bricks and steel seem to absorb some of the RF

Yeah mate, there are 2 models supported, maybe more. Check the github page in the description for more information. I totally recommend changing the root directory to the sd card as you will fill up the internal storage pretty quick. I looked at the evil crow a while back. Saw it as an expense that didn't really give me much more than I already had to play with. But I may reconsider in the future.

Not with this. The cable on the baofeng is only for programming channels and settings of the radio. There is a cheap external RF unit that you can get for the flipper. This will allow external antenna connection, and then you can pass that through a power amp or even just a bigger antenna. If you feel like programming the flipper and dismantling the baofeng, there's a way to interface with the RF chip via standard protocols that the flipper does support. Just no software has been written yet. Or that I know of. Might have a quick look into this myself. I have a short video demonstrating a 1W signal sent from the flipper. I'll do a hook up video for it soon. Just a lot of stuff is happening at home, and I haven't had much time to work on content.

Thank you so much for the response! I watched your other video that you mentioned. That is sort of what I had in mind and what I would like to learn how to do. I had just seen this video and got curious about the possibility of using a baofeng as a transmitter. What would interfacing with the RF chip allow if you don't mind me asking? I'd totally be willing to dismantle my baofeng to make this happen. I have a tech background but I'm not very familiar in this area sadly. Pretty new to RF stuff... it intrigues me very much and I have ideas I want to test with my flipper... so I'm trying to learn more lol.

Unfortunately my other good camera wouldn't focus this low because it's a cheap 4k action cam. The only other option was a logitech HD webcam. Hey feel free to donate the gear you have or just leave a like, share or subscribe to help build the channel and I can put money towards new gear. I'm not going to put much funds towards this when I'm at a low amount of subs. Rather spend the money on other projects.

The other thing to point out is. I'm not a youtuber. I'm learning as I go along with the limitations in hardware that I have.

@Cracked_ApeXx child toy for some, combining 100 tools into a small device that fits in your pocket, doesn't require a pc connected to function, is open source and can be remote controlled by your phone for others. People use this device for however they want. Personally I don't use the deauther, that was a fun project. I have however used the nrf sniffer to show work they need to upgrade keyboard/mice combos, I use it to emulate 10 different access cards and fob eliminating those from the 25 different access cards I use in my day to day, I've used it several times for a uart bridge for different devices including radios and routers because I needed a 3.3v one and I could only find 5v ones on my spares. These are just some of the things I've used it for. But hey still a child's toy I guess. Also have you used urh to decode a signal? You soon learn that yes you can do stuff but its a pain in the ass. This makes things easy for the common known protocols. You do you. I do me.
