Fishing the Edisto River! Catching the Prettiest Fish in the River!!!
Justin and I headed to the Edisto River in his creek boat for some bream fishing. We had a good day and caught plenty of fish.

I headed out on Christmas morning and I was able to fill a couple doe tags. This meat was for a coworker who'd asked me to shoot him a deer if I was able. @@SClivingOutdoors great segment mate and a great unit, I hunted NZ many times as it's real close to Aussie, my current project is utilising the Tikka platform but I'm miles away from completion just trued up the action in prep for a tolerance fit, now it's time to machine the barrel, I'm a recently retired gunsmith so that sort of kind of makes it easier but definitely not quicker if your a stickler for quality like I am, cheers might run into you in NZ 🤣👍

I usually don’t make videos unless I think it’ll be entertaining to watch. I have made a handful of trips up there every year and have not even seen an animal. Hopefully I can get something up this year to make a video.

Were you there the later part of May? Judging by the lack of snow seen in the video. Trying to plan our hunt for next spring and was just curious as to when in the season you guys usually hunt in your area?
We were there the second week of May. It was an early spring this year.

Great hunt brother. I just went out to Montana on my first western hunt. Beautiful country. We worked our butts off and were able to harvest two beautiful bears and a Merriams turkey. I got a chocolate bear. It won’t be my last time. Something about diy hunts in new country. The success was just icing on the cake.

Congrats on your bull! I was in zone 4 the same week. My Uncle and I hunted on our own for 3 days and then linked up with our guide. Day 5 (Friday the 13th) we found our Moose in the afternoon after calling for about an hour. Its truly an awesome experience. Congrats again!

I drew a cow tag on year 7. Bull tag 5 years later. Pretty lucky.
