My funny theory about the 24th cheat is that it was intentionally left out to fuel speculation and extensive experimental play, especially in the time before internet access was common. A list with exactly one obviously missing in a game that unlocks things for completing it in various ways? Definitely would look suspicious.

The weirdest one off glitch I have encounter in Pokémon was in the original games. I had just beaten Brock and was making for Route 3, when I was stopped and a text box came up, saying Pikachu was evolving. I now had a Raichu, with only Thundershock and Growl. That was just the beginning though, because when I reached Celedon and wanted to evolve my Eevee in to Flareon, the Fire Stone I bought was available to use on the Raichu and it turned in to an Arcanine. It was likely a series of glitches that caused that to happen, but I figure something weird happened with Raichu's data, so I'm lumping it together. Raicanine made me one of the coolest kids in the Pokémon group, since everyone knew I was too poor to afford a Game Shark to cheat it. The other kids that had one wouldn't let me use their's either, because I refused to tell people how I got 6 Lv. 255 Mewtwo. Name yourself David and get to Cinnabar to be able to activate MissingNo. Then, search for a Mewtwo over Lv. 100. Feed that Rare Candies until you hit 255; anymore and you stack overflow it to Lv. 0 and it is then capped at 100.

Not sure if its a troll: but i do remember hearing at one point that solar waves does affect packets/memory/RNG with older games/speedruns

Hey, Goose! Perfect Dark is finally coming to Nintendo Switch online. Do you think this might lead to any speedrun developments, like new strats or deeper analysis of the game's code?

Honestly 1/7000 isn't that crazy for things consisting of a WR, but when you take into account of having to get 4 friends together for such odds that might just be the craziest part considering they were all in on it together (not just playing like normal).

My theory is that maybe with the picture of Snorlax you can also get a Butterfree in the picture for some extra points somehow. That's the only explanation in my mind and vice versa somehow get extra points for Butterfree with Snorlax in the background somehow. Why else would they be the only 2 that are different? amirite

Hey goose 👋 can you make a video about GoldenEye like in general. As an outsider of Speedrun community i (and perhaps many more) would like to know, why exactly this game became such a popular choice for speedrunners. For me as your typical PC gamer, goldeneye looks like just another shooter. I think many people would like to know what's makes that game so special. Thanks 🙃

Lower scores on normal pages makes sense to me, they probably didn't want to post their best scores if they were very hard / a bit glitchy to get like the pikachu, those pages are more meant for normal players.

Not sure how it happened, but it only happened to me once in facility, I heard one of the lab guards sneeze immediately followed by an explosion. I don't know if it was a random sneeze and a guard tried to throw a grenade at me or what, but the lab was blown up before i got to it. My college roommate and I laughed about that for a good while over that one!
