I have watched this (and the other versions) dozens of times and I STILL tear up. My first year at KState was 1989 and the first game I saw us win (in person) was the Texas State last second touchdown. Still my favorite game.

It’s worth pointing out that while this was incredibly embarrassing for Nebraska, ISU only scored 9 points with 8 takeaways, and I think 2 of those was a safety. Not exactly a great game for either side. I should know as a lifelong Cyclone fan.

I'm a Husker/Sooner fan coming across this video in 2022 right after K-State upset Oklahoma for the 3rd time in 4 years. Wow. K-State fans tearing down someone else's goal post. That's freaking awesome. Almost makes me want to root for K-State. Also, all the people whining about Baker Mayfield planting the flag at Ohio State must not have known this existed.

Coaches are measured by the number of national championship s but no one looks at the the turn around of losing programs. No other coach in the country could have the patience to do what coach Syder accomplished in Manhattan He was the right man for the job ! GOAT !

The mighty Trojans go down to a rising Kansas State

Coach Snyder accomplished more at K- State, and getting the most out of the players he had. What he did without a hundred million dollar budget is amazing beating teams like O.U. He is the GOAT. I think there is a few folks in oaklahoma might agree.
